Heritage alerts surface risks against records in the archive — physical, legal, and curatorial. Each alert carries a captured snapshot with full source provenance: URL, timestamp, SHA-256 hash, integrity status. The alert states what was observed, when, and which entity is affected. The platform does not adjudicate the underlying claim; it publishes the signal and the moderation state attached to it.
Severity is a five-step scale set by the moderator who reviewed the signal. Status moves through open, under review, and resolved. False-positive resolutions are also public.
