palāśaśākhāṃ śamīśākhāṃ vādāyāntareṇa cakraṃ cānaḍvāhaṃ ca dakṣiṇām īṣām anuprasṛpya rājavāhanasyāntarīṣe tiṣṭhan subrahmaṇyām āhvayati trir aniruktām subrahmaṇyoṃ subrahmaṇyoṃ subrahmaṇyom ity upāṃśu evam eva prāgvartamāna evaṃ dakṣiṇata evam udagāvarte dvir dakṣiṇam anaḍvāhaṃ śākhayā saṃspṛśati sakṛd vāmam paryāvahanti rājavāhanam vimuktayor anaḍuho rājānaṃ prapādayanti prapanne rājani yathaitam sapatnīkāḥ devān vā etasmin kāle rakṣāṃsy anvasacanta sa etad agnī rakṣohā sāmāpaśyat tena rakṣāṃsy apāghnata tad yat sarve nidhanam upayanti rakṣasām evāpahatyai triḥ pratiṣṭhāpaṃ haranti pratiṣṭhite pratiṣṭhite gāyati trayo vā ime lokāḥ eṣāṃ lokānāṃ vidhṛtyai apareṇāsmiṃs tiṣṭhati pravargyaṃ yuñjanti yadā dvitīyam apaḥ pariṣiñcaty athainam āha prastotaḥ sāma gāyeti sa hiṃkṛtya vārṣāharaṃ trir gāyati atraiva tiṣṭhan hiṃkṛtyeṣṭāhotrīyaṃ trir gāyati iṣṭāhotrīyasya nidhanam upayanti na vārṣāharasya athaitat prastotā vāsa ādatte yena patny āvṛtā bhavati śyaitaṃ pratyāvrajan gāyet yadā dhiṣṇyān nivapanty athājyasthālīṃ sasruvām ādāyottareṇāgnīdhraṃ ca sadaś ca parītyāparayā dvārā sadaḥ prapadyaudumbarīm anvārabhate āyoṣṭvā sadane sādayāmy avataś chāyāyāṃ samudrasya hṛdaye namaḥ samudrāya namaḥ samudrasya cakṣase mā mā yonorvāṃ hāsīr iti athainām ucchrayati ud divaṃ stabhānāntarikṣaṃ pṛṇa pṛthivīm upareṇa dṛṃheti athaināṃ minoti dyutānas tvā māruto minotu mitrāvaruṇayor dhruveṇa dharmaṇeti athainām ājyenābhijuhoti agrād upakramyāmūlāt saṃtanvann iva ghṛtena dyāvāpṛthivī āprīṇīthāṃ supippalā oṣadhīḥ kṛdhi svāheti athaināṃ triḥ prasalī purīṣeṇa paryūhati brahmavaniṃ tvā kṣatravaniṃ suprajāvaniṃ rāyaspoṣavaniṃ paryūhāmīti athaināṃ dīkṣitadaṇḍena dṛṃhati brahma dṛṃha kṣatraṃ dṛṃha prajāṃ dṛṃha rayiṃ dṛṃha rāyaspoṣaṃ dṛṃha sajātān yajamānāya dṛṃheti athainām ūrdhvāgrais tṛṇaiḥ pradakṣiṇaṃ pariveṣṭayati athaināṃ vāsasā paridadhāty anagnatvāya athaināṃ hastābhyāṃ parigṛhṇāti mayy ūrjam annādyaṃ dhehīti evam eva stotre stotre parigṛhṇāti agnīṣomau praṇīyāgnīṣomīyam ālabhate tasmin vapānta utkare tiṣṭhan subrahmaṇyām āhvayati pitāputrīyām kauśika brāhmaṇa kauśika bruvāṇeti āta uktvā nāmāny āvapati asau yajate 'muṣya putro yajate 'muṣya pautro yajate 'muṣya naptā yajata iti catuṣpuruṣam amuṣya pitāmuṣya piteti putrāṇāṃ yathājātam strīṇām apy eke janiṣyamāṇānāṃ pitā pitāmahaḥ prapitāmaho yajata ity uttamam āha yathāmnātaṃ śeṣam atrarṣabhaṃ dadāti subrahmaṇyāya naitāṃ rātriṃ sadaḥ kaścana prapadyeta ṛksāme atra mithunībhavataḥ iti brāhmaṇam parihṛtāsu vasatīvarīṣu śvaḥ sutyāpravacanīṃ subrahmaṇyām āhūyāgnīdhre patnīśālāyām iti saṃviśanti śvaḥ karmaṇo 'napagā bhavanti kāla enam āmantrayante sa yajñopavītaṃ kṛtvāpa ācamyāntareṇa cātvālaṃ cotkaraṃ ca prapadyate jyā asi sudhāṃ me dhehy āyuṣmantas tad varcasvanta udgeṣma etad eva prapadanam etad udayanam ājyagrahān gṛhṇatsūtkare tiṣṭhan subrahmaṇyām āhvayaty adya sutyām iti taṃ yadi brūyur viśvarūpā gāyety akarmaṇa etat trayodaśaṃ stotram iti brūyād virājaṃ lobhayatīti saṃsave tu kāryam abhiṣavasya kāla āgacchati sa pūrvayā dvārā havirdhānaṃ prapadya viṣṇoḥ pṛṣṭham asīti dakṣiṇaṃ havirdhānam abhimṛśati viṣṇo rarāṭam asīty uttaram so 'ntareṇa havirdhāne gatvā dakṣiṇasya havirdhānasya paścād akṣam upaviśati ahe daidhiṣavyod atas tiṣṭhānyasya sadane sīda yo 'smat pākataras tasya sadane sīda nirastaḥ parāvasur iti tṛṇaṃ nirasyati yat pratiśuṣkāgraṃ bhavati yad vā praticchinnāgram apa upaspṛśya ā vasoḥ sadane sīdāmīti sīdati etenaivopaviśati yatra yatra kariṣyan bhavati athāha namaḥ pitṛbhyaḥ pūrvasadbhyo namaḥ sākaṃ niṣadbhyaḥ yuñjate vācaṃ śatapadīṃ gāye sahasravartanīm gāyatraṃ traiṣṭubhaṃ jagad viśvā rūpāṇi saṃbhṛtaṃ devā okāṃsi cakrira iti athāsmā adho 'kṣaṃ droṇakalaśaṃ prayacchati taṃ pratigṛhṇāti devasya tvā savituḥ prasave 'śvinor bāhubhyāṃ pūṣṇo hastābhyāṃ pratigṛhṇāmīti taṃ pratigṛhya dakṣiṇa ūrau nidhāyoparyakṣaṃ pavitram apahṛtya pavayati vasavas tvā punantu gāyatreṇa chandasā suprajāvaniṃ rāyaspoṣavanim iti taṃ pavayitvā paścād akṣaṃ sādayati bārhaspatyam asi vānaspatyaṃ prajāpater mūrdhātyāyupātram iti taṃ paścād akṣaṃ sādayitvā gāyatraṃ viśvarūpāsu gāyatīti brāhmaṇam taṃ prohati vasavas tvā prohantu gāyatreṇa chandasā rudrās tvā prohantu traiṣṭubhena chandasādityās tvā prohantu jāgatena chandaseti upary upary akṣaṃ pavitram atyasyati nākṣam upaspṛśet yathaitaṃ paretyāpareṇoparavān prāṅmukha upaviśya droṇakalaśam abhimṛśati tanūpā asi tanvaṃ me pāhi varcodhā asi varco me dhehi āyurdhā asi āyurme dhehi vayodhā asi vayo me dhehīti saṃmukhān grāvṇaḥ kṛtvābhimṛśati śyenā ajirā ṛtasya garbhāḥ prayuto napātaḥ parvatānāṃ kakubha ā nas taṃ vīraṃ vahata yaṃ bahava upajīvāmo 'bhiśastikṛtam anabhiśastyam anyasyābhiśastyāḥ kartāram iti teṣu droṇakalaśam adhyūhatīdam ahaṃ mā brahmavarcase 'dhyūhāmi yajamānaṃ svarge loka iti taṃ dṛṃhati devī tvā dhiṣaṇe nipātāṃ dhruve sadasi sīdeṣa ūrje sīdeti tam antar īṣe pavitram apahṛtya saṃmārṣṭi vasavas tvā saṃmṛjantu gāyatreṇa chandasā rudrās tvā saṃmṛjantu traiṣṭubhena chandasādityās tvā saṃmṛjantu jāgatena chandaseti tad udīcīnadaśaṃ pavitraṃ vitanoti pavitraṃ te vitataṃ brahmaṇaspata ity etena tṛcena rājānam ānayanti tam abhimantrayate sa pavasva sudhāmā devānām abhi priyāṇi dhāmā trir devebhyo 'pavathās trir ādityebhyas trir aṅgirobhyo yena turyeṇa brahmaṇā bṛhaspataye 'pavathās tena mahyaṃ pavasva sa naḥ pavasva śaṃ gave śaṃ janāya śam arvate śaṃ rājann oṣadhībhya iti saṃtataṃ śukraṃ pavayanti grahān gṛhṇanty adhvaryavaḥ āgrayaṇagrahaṃ gṛhṇan hiṃkaroti tad eva hiṃkṛtaṃ bhavati athodgātaikarcaṃ gāyatraṃ gāyaty uccā te jātam andhaseti gṛhīteṣu graheṣv apa upaspṛśya pṛthivīm abhimṛśati drapsaś caskanda pṛthivīm anu dyām imaṃ ca yonim anu yaś ca pūrvaḥ tṛtīyaṃ yonim anu saṃcarantaṃ drapsaṃ juhomy anu sapta hotrā iti ā māskān saha prajayā rāyaspoṣeṇendriyaṃ me vīryaṃ mā nirvadhīr ity ātmānaṃ pratyabhimṛśati apa upaspṛśya saṃtatāḥ sarpanti adhvaryuprathamaḥ sarpaty atha prastotāthodgātātha pratihartātha yajamāno brahmā ṣaṣṭhaḥ sarpati pravṛtahomāñjuhvati juṣṭo vāco bhūyāsaṃ juṣṭo vācaspatyur devi vāk yat te vāco madhumat tasmin mā dhāḥ svāhā sarasvatyā iti dvitīyāṃ juhoti sūryo mā devo divyebhyo rakṣobhyaḥ pātu vāta āntarikṣebhyo 'gniḥ pārthivebhyaḥ svāheti ta udañco bahiṣpavamānāya sarpanti sarpatsv adhvaryum anumantrayata etad ahaṃ daivyaṃ vājinaṃ saṃmārjmīti dakṣiṇena cātvālaṃ tṛṇāni saṃstṛṇāty udapātreṇa saha teṣūpaveśanasyāvṛtopaviśanti udagāvṛtta udgātā purastāt prastotā pratyaṅmukhaḥ paścāt pratihartā dakṣiṇāmukhaḥ stotraṃ pratigṛhya pavamānajapaṃ japati bhūr bhuvaḥ svar madhu kariṣyāmi madhu janayiṣyāmi madhu bhaviṣyati bhadraṃ bhadram iṣam ūrjaṃ somodgāyodgāya soma mahyaṃ tejase mahyaṃ brahmavarcasāya mahyam annādyāya mahyaṃ bhūmne mahyaṃ puṣṭyai mahyaṃ prajananāya prajānāṃ bhūmne prajānāṃ puṣṭyai prajānāṃ mahyaṃ prajananāya prajānāṃ bhūmne prajānāṃ puṣṭyai prajananāya somasya rājño rājyāya mama grāmaṇeyāya diśaḥ pradiśa ādiśo vidiśa uddiśo diśi iti pratyeti vāg bhūr bhuvaḥ svar om ity āvartiṣu diśa stha śrotraṃ me mā hiṃsiṣṭety upagātṝn pratyabhimṛśati atha saṃpreṣyati brahman stoṣyāmaḥ praśāstar iti prastotā brahmāṇam āha prasava ukta upadadhāti te sakṛddhiṃkṛtena parācā bahiṣpavamānena stuvate ahiṃkṛtā retasyā bhavati hiṃkṛtānītarāṇi gāyatrāṇi stute yajamānaṃ vācayati śyeno 'si gāyatracchandā anu tvā rabhe svasti mā saṃpārayā mā stutasya stutaṃ gamyād indravanto vanāmahe dhukṣīmahi prajām iṣam āpaṃ samāpaṃ sāmnā samāpam iti vṛṣako 'si triṣṭupchandeti mādhyandine pavamāne svaro 'si gayo 'si jagatīchandety ārbhave stutasya stutam asy ūrjasvat payasvad ity āvartiṣu atha stuvānaḥ pavamāneṣu madhyamām adhvaryave prāhottamām āvartiṣu hotre athaitad udapātraṃ cātvāle 'vanayati samudraṃ vaḥ prahiṇomy akṣitā svāṃ yonim apigacchatāriṣṭā asmākaṃ vīrāḥ santu mā parāseci na svam iti sa yad evānya uttiṣṭhet tam uttiṣṭhantam ārabhyānūttiṣṭhet utthāyottare vedyante yajamānaṃ vikramayati mā svargāl lokād avacchaitsīr iti dakṣiṇaṃ pādam antarvedi māsmād iti savyaṃ bahirvedi yadā savanīyasya caritaṃ bhavaty athodgātāraś cātvāle mārjayanta āpo hi ṣṭhā mayobhuvas tā na ūrje dadhātana mahe raṇāya cakṣase yo vaḥ śivatamo rasas tasya bhājayateha naḥ uśatīr iva mātaraḥ tasmā araṃ gamāma vo yasya kṣayāya jinvatha āpo janayathā ca naḥ idamāpaḥ pravahatāvadyaṃ ca malaṃ ca yat yad vābhidudrohānṛtaṃ yad vā śepe abhīruṇam āpo mā tasmād enaso viśvān muñcantv aṃhasa iti prapadanasyāvṛtā prapadya vedyākramaṇena vedim ākrāmati mṛdā śithirā devānāṃ vedir asi namas te astu mā mā hiṃsīr iti ādityam upatiṣṭhate 'dhvanām adhvapate svasti me 'smin devayāne pathi kṛṇu raudreṇānīkena svasty agne paridehīti dhiṣṇyān upatiṣṭhate samrāḍ asi kṛśānū raudreṇānīkena pāhi māgne pipṛhi mā namas te astu mā mā hiṃsīr ity āhavanīyam tutho 'si janadhā iti bāhiṣpavamānīyam āstāvam nabho 'si pratakvā iti cātvālam asaṃmṛṣṭo 'si havyasūdana iti śāmitram kṛṣṇo 'sy ākhareṣṭha ity utkaram aindrīm āvṛtam anvāvarta iti dakṣiṇaṃ bāhum anu paryāvṛtyottareṇāgnīdhraṃ parītya paścāt prāgāvṛttas tiṣṭhan vibhūr asi pravāhaṇa ity āgnīdhram upatiṣṭhate purastāt sadasaḥ pratyagāvṛttas tiṣṭhan vahnir asi havyavāhana iti hotur dhiṣṇyam śvātro 'si pracetā iti maitrāvaruṇasya tutho 'si viśvavedā iti brāhmaṇācchaṃsinaḥ uśig asi kavir iti potuḥ aṃghārir asi bambhārir iti neṣṭuḥ avasyur asi duvasvān ity acchāvākasya śundhyur asi mārjālīya iti mārjālīyam amṛtadhāmāsi svarjyotir ity audumbarīm pariṣadyo 'sy āstāva ity āstāvam samudro 'sy uruvyacā iti brahmasadanam samudro 'si viśvavyacā iti hotṛṣadanam uttareṇa sadaḥ parītya paścāt pratyagāvṛttas tiṣṭhann ajo 'sy ekapāt iti gārhapatyam upatiṣṭhate ahir asi budhnya iti prājahitam sagaro 'si budhnya itītaraṃ prājahitam kavyo 'si kavyavāhana iti dakṣiṇaṃ vedyantam savyam aṃsam anu paryāvṛtya samastān dhiṣṇyān upatiṣṭhate 'gnayaḥ sagarāḥ sagarair nāmabhī raudrair anīkaiḥ pāta māgnayaḥ pipṛta mā namo vo astu mā mā hiṃsiṣṭeti sadaso dvārau samīkṣata ṛtasya dvārau vijihāthāṃ mā mā saṃtāptaṃ lokaṃ me lokakṛtau kṛtam iti sadasaspatim adbhutaṃ priyam indrasya kāmyaṃ hotur dhiṣṇyaṃ dvir uttareṇa dviḥ te pañcadaśenāgneyenājyena stuvate yathāstomaṃ vā atha maitrāvaruṇenāthaindreṇāthaindrāgneneti saṃtiṣṭhate prātaḥsavanam etayaivāvṛtā mādhyandinaṃ savanaṃ prasiddham saṃprasarpya sadasi pavamānena stuvate sāmne sāmne hiṃkurvanti stute dadhigharmeṇa caranti atha puroḍāśair atha rājñā rājani bhakṣite dākṣiṇāni juhoti atha dakṣiṇā nayanti ātreyāya prathamāṃ gāṃ dattvā brahmaṇe dakṣiṇā nayanty atha hotre 'thādhvaryave 'thodgātre 'tha sadasyāyātha hotrakebhyo 'tha prasarpakebhyaḥ dakṣiṇāsu nīyamānāsūtkare tiṣṭhan subrahmaṇyām āhvayati trir aniruktām yat prāyaṇaṃ tad udayanam asad iti śaste marutvatīye nārāśaṃsān bhakṣayanti bhakṣiteṣu nārāśaṃseṣu pūrvayā dvārā sadaso 'dhi niṣkramyāparayā dvārāgnīdhraṃ prapadyāgnīdhre pṛṣṭhāhutī juhoti rathaṃtaraṃ pibatu somyaṃ madhv āyur dadhad yajñapatāv avihrutam imaṃ yajñam abhisaṃvasānā hotrās tṛpyantu sumanasyamānāḥ svāheti tūṣṇīm uttarām bṛhad iti vā yat pṛṣṭhaṃ syāt tad ādiśet rathantarasya stotram bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ ka idam udgāsyati sa idam udgāsyatīty etad uktvābhyaniti yadi bārhataṃ stotraṃ syād bṛhataḥ stotraṃ pratigṛhya brūyād divaṃ pitaram upaśraye bṛhan mā mā hiṃsīr iti samānaṃ param sa rathantareṇa stute bṛhatā vā rathantare stute ho ity uktvādim ādadīta bṛhati prastuta ā iti rathantare prastūyamāne saṃmīlayet svardṛśaṃ prati vipaśyet yāvat stobhet tāvat pṛthivyāṃ hastau syātāṃ devarathasyānapavyāthāya vāmadevyasya stotram āharati tat pratigṛhyaitā vyāhṛtīr abhivyāharati gauś cāśvaś cājāś cāviś ca vrīhiś ca yavaś cāpo vāyur āpo vāyur iti sa vāmadevyena madhyamayā vācānejan ā pratihārād anavānaṃ gāyet pratihāra eva pratihriyamāṇe vāg ity udgātā brūyāt atha naudhasenātha kāleyeneti saṃtiṣṭhate mādhyandinaṃ savanam atha tṛtīyasavane prapadanasyāvṛtā prapadya vedyākramaṇena vedim ākramyādityam upatiṣṭhate 'dhvanām adhvapata ity etenaiva athaindrīm āvṛtam anvāvarta iti dakṣiṇaṃ bāhum anu paryāvṛtyottareṇāgnīdhraṃ ca sadaś ca parītya paścāt sadasa īkṣamāṇaḥ samastān yena hy ājim ajayan nṛcakṣā yena śyenaṃ śakunaṃ suparṇaṃ yad āhuś cakṣur aditāv anantaṃ somo nṛcakṣā mayi taddadhātv iti tam avekṣya dakṣiṇenaudumbarīṃ paryāhṛtya jaghanārdhe sadasaḥ sādayati prajāpater bhāgo 'sīti yajñāyajñīyasya stotram āharati tena prāvṛta udgāyati dvitīyāṃ rathaṃtaravarṇāṃ karoti nidhanam anu patnīm avekṣate vāmī nāma saṃdṛśi viśvā vāmāni dhīmahīti vṛṣṇas te vṛṣṇyāvato viśvā retāṃsi dhīmahītītarā pratisamīkṣate bhakṣiteṣu yajñāyajñīyasya someṣvaparayā dvārā sadaso 'dhi niṣkramyāparayā dvārāgnīdhraṃ prapadyāgnīdhre sruvāhutī juhoti apāṃ puṣpam asy oṣadhīnāṃ rasa indrasya priyatamaṃ haviḥ svāheti tūṣṇīm uttarām iti tṛtīyasavanam anūyājaiś caranti anūyājaiś caritvā hāriyojanena caranti hāriyojanasyoccheṣaṇād iyatīr veyatīr vā dhānā ādāyāhavanīyasyānte nidadhati āpūryā sthā mā pūrayata prajayā ca dhanena ceti śālākair enāṃsy avayajante devakṛtasyainaso 'vayajanam asi ṛṣikṛtasyainaso 'vayajanam asi pitṛkṛtasyainaso 'vayajanam asi parakṛtasyainaso 'vayajanam asi ātmakṛtasyainaso 'vayajanam asi enasa enaso 'vayajanam asi svāheti dakṣiṇena cātvālam apsuṣomān somabhakṣāvṛtāvaghreṇa bhakṣayanti yugapat samupahūtā ity abhivyāhṛtyāpsu dhautasya deva soma te mativido nṛbhi stutasya stutastomasya śastokthasyeṣṭayajuṣo yo bhakṣo 'śvasanir gosanis tasya ta upahūtasyopahūto bhakṣayāmi vāg juṣāṇā somasya tṛpyatv iti kāmakāmam āvarta iti dakṣiṇaṃ bāhum anuparyāvartate tūṣṇīṃ punaḥ savyaṃ bāhum anuparyāvṛtya śam adbhyaḥ śam oṣadhībhyaḥ prāṇa somapīthe me jāgṛhīti dvitīyam bhakṣayitvā cātvāle 'vanayati samudraṃ vaḥ prahiṇomīty etenaiva āgnīdhre dadhiṣomān bhakṣayanti camasena yathāpūrvaṃ pāṇibhir vā yugapad dadhikrāvṇo akāriṣam ity etayarcā patnīsaṃyājaiś caranti patnīsaṃyājaiś caritvāvabhṛthaṃ saṃsādayanti avabhṛthe viṣṭutīr apyarjaty audumbarīṃ cāsandīṃ ca antareṇa cātvālaṃ cotkaraṃ ca niṣkrāmann āha prastotaḥ sāma gāyeti sa hiṃkṛtya sāma trir gāyaty agniṃ hotāraṃ manye dāsvantam ity eteṣāṃ tṛtīyam padāya padāya stobham āha sarve nidhanam upayanti sapatnīkāḥ devān vā etasmin kāle rakṣāṃsy anvasacanta sa etad agnī rakṣohā sāmāpaśyat tena rakṣāṃsy apāghnata tad yat sarve nidhanam upayanti rakṣasām evāpahatyai triḥ pratiṣṭhāpaṃ haranti pratiṣṭhite pratiṣṭhite gāyati trayo vā ime lokāḥ eṣāṃ lokānāṃ samaṣṭyai avabhṛtheṣṭyā caranti saṃsthitāyām avabhṛtheṣṭyām upāvasṛpyāpa ācāmati bhakṣasyāvabhṛtho 'si bhakṣaṇasyāvabhṛtho 'si bhakṣitasyāvabhṛtho 'sīti audumbarīr ārdrāḥ sapalāśāḥ samidhaḥ kurvata edho 'syedhiṣīmahīti gatvāhavanīye samidho 'bhyādadhāti samid asi tejo 'si tejo mayi dhehi svāheti abhyādhāyopatiṣṭhate 'po 'nvacāriṣaṃ rasena samasṛkṣmahi payasvāṃ agna āgamaṃ taṃ mā saṃsṛja varcaseti athaitaj japati śaṃ ca ma upa ca ma āyuśca me bhūyaś ca me yajña śivo me saṃtiṣṭhasva yajña sviṣṭo me saṃtiṣṭhasva yajñāriṣṭo me saṃtiṣṭhasveti saṃtiṣṭhate sutyā yathāyathaṃ visṛjyanta udgātāraḥ ityaikāhikasya karmaṇaḥ agnyādheye sāmnāṃ gānakālam upadekṣyāmaḥ yajñopavītaṃ kṛtvāpa ācamyottareṇa vihāradeśaṃ parītyāpareṇa gārhapatyāyatanaṃ prāṅmukhas tiṣṭhann araṇyor nihito jātaveda iti araṇyoḥ saṃdhīyamānayor ghṛtācer āṅgirasasya sāma gāyati agniṃ nara iti mathyamāne rāśimarāyam tveṣas te dhūma ṛṇvatīti dhūma udyati kaulmudam adarśi gātuvittama iti jāte gāthinaḥ kauśikasya sāmāgneś ca śraiṣṭhyam gārhapatya ādhīyamāne rathantaram uddhriyamāṇe vāmadevyam anvāhāryapacana ādhīyamāne yajñāyajñīyam prāñcaṃ praṇīyāhavanīyāyatane nidadhāti tadagnernidhi gāyati āhavanīya ādhīyamāne bṛhat ādhite vāravantīyaṃ śyaitamiti sabhyāvasathyau sabhapauṣkalābhyām sarvāñchyaitenety eke tāny udgātā gāyed gānasaṃyogāt vedādhikṛtatvāt atha brahmaudane ca liṅgadarśanāt teṣāṃ yāni tṛcasthānāni tṛceṣu tāni gāyet yānyekarcāni tristristāni tiṣṭhan na stotrabhūtāni madhyamayā vācā manasā vā brahmā sāmāni gāyed ity eke brāhmaṇaspatyaṃ hriyamāṇe vratapakṣau vā gharme hute 'śvinor vrate rauhiṇakam uttarasmin rauhiṇe hūyamāne gharme sādyamāna ārūḍhavadāṅgirasaṃ trir gāyati kāvaṃ vā vāmadevyena madantībhiḥ śāntiṃ kṛtvā yathāprapannaṃ niṣkramya saṃsthitāyām upasadyutkare tiṣṭhan subrahmaṇyāmāhūya yathārtham eti atha parigāṇāni na geyāni nādhvaryuḥ saṃpreṣyati yadādhvaryuḥ saṃpreṣyati geyānīti sve vā yajñe gāyed yaṃ vā śreyāṃsaṃ kāmayeta tasya vā dīkṣaṇīyāyāṃ tārkṣyasāmanī gāyet prāyaṇīyāyāṃ pravadbhārgavam ātithyāyām auśanaṃ preṣṭhaṃ vo atithim iti pravargye ca yathāliṅgam upatiṣṭhet agner vrataṃ somasya vrataṃ viṣṇor vratam ity upasatsu sadā nimīyamāne sadasā havirdhāne havirdhānābhyām agniṃ praṇayanti tad agner vratam agnīṣomau praṇayanti tad agner vrataṃ somasya caiva vrataṃ tṛtīyam pavitre rājany ānīyamāne trīṇi somasāmāni gāyet somaḥ pavata iti yāni prathamād ūrdhvam ahar ahaḥ satre satrasyarddhi gāyet saṃsthite 'hani paścād gārhapatyaṃ yajñasārathy ahīnaikāheṣu ca prākśvaḥsutyāṃ paścādeva gārhapatyam agner agastyasyātrer iti rākṣoghnāni sāmāni gāyet sarvān saṃśrāvayed yajamānān sapatnīkān anūbandhyeṣu ca yathāliṅgam aukṣṇorandhram ukṣaṇi ārṣabham ṛṣabhe vāśaṃ vaśāyām unnate traikakubham ājīkam aje paya āmikṣāyām dadhini dadhikram madhuni madhuścyunnidhanam ājye ghṛtaścyunnidhanam aurṇāyavam āvike meṣe ca athodayanīyāyām udvat udavasānīyāyām udvaṃśīyam sautrāmaṇyāṃ
