arthātmā vairasyāya prakalpate kāmaṃ kandarpacāṇḍālo mayi vāmākṣi nirdayaḥ tvayi nirmatsaro diṣṭyety agrāmyo 'rtho rasāvahaḥ śabde 'pi grāmyatāstyeva sā sabhyetarakīrtanāt yathā yakārādipadaṃ ratyutsavanirūpaṇe padasaṃdhānavṛttyā vā vākyārthatvena vā punaḥ duṣpratītikaraṃ grāmyaṃ yathā yā bhavataḥ priyā kharaṃ prahṛtya viśrāntaḥ puruṣo vīryavān iti evamādi na śaṃsanti mārgayor ubhayor api bhaginībhagavatyādi sarvatraivānumanyate vibhaktam iti mādhuryam ucyate sukumāratā aniṣṭhurākṣaraprāyaṃ sukumāram iheṣyate bandhaśaithilyadoṣas tu darśitaḥ sarvakomale maṇḍalīkṛtya barhāṇi kaṇṭhair madhuragītibhiḥ kalāpinaḥ pranṛtyanti kāle jīmūtamālini ity anūrjita evārtho nālaṃkāro 'pi tādṛśaḥ sukumāratayaivaitad ārohati satāṃ manaḥ dīptam ity aparair bhūmnā kṛcchrodyam api badhyate nyakṣeṇa kṣayitaḥ pakṣaḥ kṣatriyāṇāṃ kṣaṇād iti arthavyaktir aneyatvam arthasya hariṇoddhṛtā bhūḥ khurakṣuṇṇanāgāsṛglohitād udadher iti mahī mahāvarāheṇa lohitād uddhṛtodadheḥ itīyatyeva nirdiṣṭe neyatvam uragāsṛjaḥ nedṛśaṃ bahu manyate mārgayor ubhayor api na hi pratītiḥ subhagā śabdanyāyavilaṅghinī utkarṣavān guṇaḥ kaścid yasminn ukte pratīyate tadudārāhvayaṃ tena sanāthā kāvyapaddhatiḥ arthināṃ kṛpaṇā dṛṣṭis tvanmukhe patitā sakṛt tadavasthā punar deva nānyasya mukham īkṣate iti tyāgasya vākye 'sminn utkarṣaḥ sādhu lakṣyate anenaiva pathānyatra samānanyāyam ūhyatām ślāghyair viśeṣaṇair yuktam udāraṃ kaiścid iṣyate yathā līlāmbujakrīḍāsarohemāṅgadādayaḥ ojaḥ samāsabhūyastvam etad gadyasya jīvitam padye 'py adākṣiṇātyānām idam ekaṃ parāyaṇam tad gurūṇāṃ laghūnāṃ ca bāhulyālpatvamiśraṇaiḥ uccāvacaprakāraṃ tad dṛśyam ākhyāyikādiṣu astamastakaparyastasamastārkāṃśusaṃstarā pīnastanasthitātāmrakamravastreva vāruṇī iti padye 'pi paurastyā badhnanty ojasvinīr giraḥ anye tv anākulaṃ hṛdyam icchanty ojo girāṃ yathā payodharataṭotsaṅgalagnasaṃdhyātapāṃśukā kasya kāmāturaṃ ceto vāruṇī na kariṣyati kāntaṃ sarvajagatkāntaṃ laukikārthānatikramāt tac ca vārttābhidhāneṣu varṇanāsvapi dṛśyate gṛhāṇi nāma tāny eva taporāśir bhavādṛśaḥ saṃbhāvayati yāny eva pāvanaiḥ pādapāṃsubhiḥ anayor anavadyāṅgi stanayor jṛmbhamāṇayoḥ avakāśo na paryāptas tava bāhulatāntare iti saṃbhāvyam evaitad viśeṣākhyānasaṃskṛtam kāntaṃ bhavati sarvasya lokayātrānuvartinaḥ lokātīta ivātyartham adhyāropya vivakṣitaḥ yo 'rthas tenāti tuṣyanti vidagdhā netare janāḥ devadhiṣṇyam ivārādhyam adyaprabhṛti no gṛham yuṣmatpādarajaḥpātadhautaniḥśeṣakilbiṣam alpaṃ nirmitam ākāśam anālocyaiva vedhasā idam evaṃvidhaṃ bhāvi bhavatyāḥ stanajṛmbhaṇam idam atyuktir ity uktam etad gauḍopalālitam prasthānaṃ prākpraṇītaṃ tu sāram anyasya vartmanaḥ anyadharmas tato'nyatra lokasīmānurodhinā samyag ādhīyate yatra sa samādhiḥ smṛto yathā kumudāni nimīlanti kamalāny unmiṣanti ca iti netrakriyādhyāsāllabdhā tadvācinī śrutiḥ niḥṣṭhyūtodgīrṇavāntādi gauṇavṛttivyapāśrayam atisundaram anyatra grāmyakakṣāṃ vigāhate padmāny arkāṃśuniḥṣṭhyūtāḥ pītvā pāvakavipruṣaḥ bhūyo vamantīva mukhair udgīrṇāruṇareṇubhiḥ iti hṛdyam ahṛdyaṃ tu niḥṣṭhīvati vadhūr iti yugapan naikadharmāṇām adhyāsaś ca smṛto yathā gurugarbhabharaklāntāḥ stanantyo meghapaṅktayaḥ acalādhityakotsaṅgam imāḥ samadhiśerate utsaṅgaśayanaṃ sakhyāḥ stananaṃ gauravaṃ klamaḥ itīme garbhiṇīdharmā bahavo'pyatra darśitāḥ tad etat kāvyasarvasvaṃ samādhir nāma yo guṇaḥ kavisārthaḥ samagro'pi tam ekam anugacchati iti mārgadvayaṃ bhinnaṃ tatsvarūpanirūpaṇāt tadbhedās tu na śakyante vaktuṃ pratikavi sthitāḥ ikṣukṣīraguḍādīnāṃ mādhuryasyāntaraṃ mahat tathāpi na tad ākhyātuṃ sarasvatyāpi śakyate naisargikī ca pratibhā śrutaṃ ca bahu nirmalam amandaś cābhiyogo 'syāḥ kāraṇaṃ kāvyasampadaḥ na vidyate yady api pūrvavāsanāguṇānubandhi pratibhānam adbhutam śrutena yatnena ca vāg upāsitā dhruvaṃ karoty eva kamapy anugraham tadastatandrair aniśaṃ sarasvatī śramād upāsyā khalu kīrtim īpsubhiḥ kṛśe kavitve 'pi janāḥ kṛtaśramāḥ vidagdhagoṣṭhīṣu vihartum īśate kāvyaśobhākarān dharmān alaṃkārān pracakṣate te cādyāpi vikalpyante kas tān kārtsnyena vakṣyati kiṃtu bījaṃ vikalpānāṃ pūrvācāryaiḥ pradarśitam tad eva pratisaṃskartum ayam asmatpariśramaḥ kāścinmārgavibhāgārtham uktāḥ prāg apyalaṃkriyāḥ sādhāraṇam alaṃkārajātam anyat pradarśyate svabhāvākhyānam upamā rūpakaṃ dīpakāvṛttiḥ ākṣepo'rthāntaranyāso vyatireko vibhāvanā samāsātiśayotprekṣā hetuḥ sūkṣmo lavaḥ kramaḥ preyo rasavad ūrjasvi paryāyoktaṃ kapālenenduśekharaḥ jaṭābhiḥ snigdhatāmrābhir āvirāsīd vṛṣadhvajaḥ jātikriyāguṇadravyasvabhāvākhyānam īdṛśam śāstreṣvasyaiva sāmrājyaṃ kāvyeṣv apy etad īpsitam yathā kathaṃcid sādṛśyaṃ yatrodbhūtaṃ pratīyate upamā nāma sā tasyāḥ prapañco 'yaṃ nidarśyate ambhoruham ivātāmraṃ mugdhe karatalaṃ tava iti dharmopamā sākṣāt tulyadharmapradarśanāt rājīvam iva te vaktraṃ netre nīlotpale iva iyaṃ pratīyamānaikadharmā vastūpamaiva sā tavānanam ivonnidram aravindam abhūd iti sā prasiddhiviparyāsād viparyāsopameṣyate tavānanam ivāmbhojam ambhojam iva te mukham ity anyonyopamā seyam anyonyotkarṣaśaṃsinī tvanmukhaṃ kamalenaiva tulyaṃ nānyena kenacit ity anyasāmyavyāvṛtter iyaṃ sā niyamopamā padmaṃ tāvat tavānveti mukham anyac ca tādṛśam asti ced astu tatkārīty asāv aniyamopamā sālakānanaśobhinī padmaṃ bahurajaś candraḥ kṣayī tābhyāṃ tavānanam samānam api sotsekam iti nindopamā smṛtā brahmaṇo 'py udbhavaḥ padmaṃ candraḥ śaṃbhuśirodhṛtaḥ tau tulyau tvanmukheneti sā praśaṃsopamocyate candreṇa tvanmukhaṃ tulyam ity ācikhyāsu me manaḥ sa guṇo vāstu doṣo vety ācikhyāsopamāṃ viduḥ śatapattraṃ śaraccandras tvadānanam iti trayam parasparavirodhīti sā virodhopamā matā na jātu śaktir indos te mukhena pratigarjitum kalaṅkino jaḍasyeti pratiṣedhopamaiva sā mṛgekṣaṇāṅkaṃ te vaktram mṛgeṇaivāṅkitaḥ śaśī tathāpi sama evāsau notkarṣīti caṭūpamā na padmaṃ mukham evedaṃ na bhṛṅgau cakṣuṣī ime iti vispaṣṭasādṛśyāt tattvākhyānopamaiva sā candrāravindayoḥ kāntim atikramya mukhaṃ tava ātmanaivābhavat tulyam ity asādhāraṇopamā sarvapadmaprabhāsāraḥ samāhṛta iva kvacit tvadānanaṃ vibhātīti tām abhūtopamāṃ viduḥ candrabimbād iva viṣaṃ candanād iva pāvakaḥ paruṣā vāg ito vaktrād ity asaṃbhāvitopamā candanodakacandrāṃśucandrakāntādiśītalaḥ sparśas tavety atiśayaṃ bodhayantī bahūpamā candrabimbād ivotkīrṇaṃ padmagarbhād ivoddhṛtam tava tanvaṅgi vadanam ity asau vikriyopamā pūṣṇy ātapa ivāhnīva pūṣā vyomnīva vāsaraḥ vikramas tvayy adhāl lakṣmīm iti mālopamā matā vākyārtheṇaiva vākyārthaḥ ko 'pi yady upamīyate ekānekevaśabdatvāt sā vākyārthopamā dvidhā tvadānanam adhīrākṣam āvirdaśanadīdhiti bhramadbhṛṅgam ivālakṣyakesaraṃ bhāti paṅkajam nalinyā iva tanvaṅgyās tasyāḥ padmam ivānanam mayā madhuvrateneva pāyaṃ pāyam aramyata vastu kiṃcid upanyasya nyasanāt tatsadharmaṇaḥ sāmyapratītir astīti prativastūpamā yathā naiko 'pi tvādṛśo 'dyāpi jāyamāneṣu rājasu nanu dvitīyo nāsty eva pārijātasya pādapaḥ adhikena samīkṛtya hīnam ekakriyāvidhau yad bruvanti smṛtā seyaṃ tulyayogopamā yathā divo jāgarti rakṣāyai pulomārir bhuvo bhavān asurās tena hanyante sāvalepās tvayā nṛpāḥ kāntyā candramasaṃ dhāmnā sūryaṃ dhairyeṇa cārṇavam rājann anukaroṣīti saiṣā hetūpamā matā na liṅgavacane bhinne na hīnādhikatāpi vā upamādūṣaṇāyālaṃ yatrodvego na dhīmatām strīva gacchati ṣaṇḍho 'yaṃ vakty eṣā strī pumān iva prāṇā iva priyo 'yam me vidyā dhanam ivārjitam bhavān iva mahīpāla devarājo virājate alam aṃśumataḥ kakṣām āroḍhuṃ tejasā nṛpaḥ ity evam ādau saubhāgyaṃ na jahāty eva jātucit asty eva kvacid udvegaḥ prayoge vāgvidāṃ yathā haṃsīva dhavalaś candraḥ sarāṃsīvāmalaṃ nabhaḥ bhartṛbhakto bhaṭaḥ śveva khadyoto bhāti bhānuvat īdṛśaṃ varjyate sadbhiḥ kāraṇaṃ tatra cintyatām guṇadoṣavicārāya svayam eva manīṣibhiḥ ivavadvāyathāśabdāḥ samānanibhasaṃnibhāḥ tulyasaṃkāśanikāśaprakāśapratirūpakāḥ pratipakṣapratidvaṃdvipratyanīkavirodhinaḥ sadṛksadṛśasaṃvādisajātīyānuvādinaḥ pratibimbapraticchandasarūpasamasaṃmitāḥ salakṣaṇasadṛkṣābhasapakṣopamitopamāḥ kalpadeśīyadeśyādiḥ prakhyapratinidhī api savarṇatulatau śabdau ye cānyūnārthavādinaḥ samāsaś ca bahuvrīhiḥ śaśāṅkavadanādiṣu spardhate jayati dveṣṭi druhyati pratigarjati ākrośaty avajānāti kadarthayati nindati viḍambayati saṃdhatte hasatīrṣyaty asūyati tasya muṣṇāti saubhāgyaṃ tasya kāntiṃ vilumpati tena sārdhaṃ vigṛhṇāti tulāṃ tenādhirohati tatpadavyām padaṃ dhatte tasya kakṣāṃ vigāhate tam anvety anubadhnāti tacchīlaṃ tanniṣedhati tasya cānukarotīti śabdāḥ sādṛśyam ūcakāḥ upamāyām ime proktāḥ kavīnāṃ buddhisaukhyadāḥ upamaiva tirobhūtabhedā rūpakam ucyate yathā bāhulatā pāṇipadmaṃ caraṇapallavaḥ aṅgulyaḥ pallavāny āsan kusumāni nakhārciṣaḥ bāhū late vasantaśrīs tvaṃ naḥ pratyakṣacāriṇī ity etad asamastākhyaṃ samastaṃ pūrvarūpakam smitaṃ mukhendor jyotsneti samastavyastarūpakam tāmrāṅgulidalaśreṇi nakhadīdhitikesaram dhriyate mūrdhni bhūpālair bhavaccaraṇapaṅkajam aṅgulyādau dalāditvaṃ pāde cāropya padmatām tadyogyasthānavinyāsād etat sakalarūpakam akasmād eva te caṇḍi sphuritādharapallavam mukhaṃ muktāruco dhatte gharmāmbhaḥkaṇamañjarīḥ mañjarīkṛtya gharmāmbhaḥ pallavīkṛtya cādharam nānyathā kṛtam atrāsyam ato 'vayavarūpakam valgitabhru galadgharmajalam ālohitekṣaṇam vivṛṇāti madāvasthām idam vadanapaṅkajam avikṛtya mukhāṅgāni mukham evāravindatām āsīd gamitam atredam ato 'vayavirūpakam madapāṭalagaṇḍena raktanetrotpalena te mukhena mugdhaḥ so 'py eṣa jano rāgamayaḥ kṛtaḥ ekāṅgarūpakaṃ caitad evaṃ dviprabhṛtīny api aṅgāni rūpayanty atra yogāyogau bhidākarau smitapuṣpojjvalaṃ lolanetrabhṛṅgam idaṃ mukham iti puṣpadvirephāṇāṃ saṃgatyā yuktarūpakam idam ārdrasmitajyotsnaṃ snigdhanetrotpalaṃ mukham iti jyotsnotpalāyogād ayuktaṃ nāma rūpakam rūpaṇād aṅgino 'ṅgānāṃ rūpaṇārūpaṇāśrayāt rūpakaṃ viṣamaṃ nāma lalitaṃ jāyate yathā madaraktakapolena manmathas tvanmukhendunā nartitabhrūlatenālaṃ mardituṃ bhuvanatrayam haripādaḥ śirolagnajahnukanyājalāṃśukaḥ jayaty asuraniḥśaṅkasurānandotsavadhvajaḥ viśeṣaṇasamagrasya rūpaṃ ketor yadīdṛśam pāde tadarpaṇād etat saviśeṣaṇarūpakam na mīlayati padmāni na nabho 'py avagāhate tvanmukhendur mamāsūnāṃ haraṇāyaiva kalpate akriyā candrakāryāṇām anyakāryasya ca kriyā atra saṃdarśyate yasmād viruddhaṃ nāma rūpakam gāmbhīryeṇa samudro 'si gauraveṇāsi parvataḥ kāmadatvāc ca lokānām asi tvaṃ kalpapādapaḥ gāmbhīryapramukhair atra hetubhiḥ sāgaro giriḥ kalpadrumaś ca kriyate tad idaṃ heturūpakam rājahaṃsopabhogārthaṃ bhramaraprārthyasaurabham sakhi vaktrāmbujam idaṃ taveti śliṣṭarūpakam iṣṭaṃ sādharmyavaidharmyadarśanād gauṇamukhyayoḥ upamāvyatirekākhyaṃ rūpakadvitayaṃ yathā ayam ālohitacchāyo madane mukhacandramāḥ saṃnaddhodayarāgasya candrasya pratigarjati candramāḥ pīyate devair mayā tvanmukhacandramāḥ asamagro 'py asau śaśvad ayam āpūrṇamaṇḍalaḥ mukhacandrasya candratvam ittham anyopatāpinaḥ na te sundari saṃvādīty etad ākṣeparūpakam mukhendur api te caṇḍi māṃ nirdahati nirdayam bhāgyadoṣān mamaiveti tat samādhānarūpakam mukhapaṅkajaraṅge 'smin bhrūlatānartakī tava līlānṛtyaṃ karotīti ramyaṃ rūpakarūpakam naitan mukham idaṃ padmaṃ na netre bhramarāv imau etāni kesarāṇy eva naitā dantārciṣas tava mukhāditvaṃ nivartyaiva padmāditvena rūpaṇāt udbhāvitaguṇotkarṣaṃ tat tv āpahnavarūpakam na paryanto vikalpānāṃ rūpakopamayor ataḥ diṅmātraṃ darśitaṃ dhīrair anuktam anumīyatām jātikriyāguṇadravyavācinaikatra vartinā sarvavākyopakāraś cet tad āhur dīpakaṃ yathā pavano dakṣiṇaḥ parṇaṃ jīrṇaṃ harati vīrudhāṃ sa evāvanatāṅgīnāṃ mānabhaṅgāya kalpate caranti caturambhodhivelodyāneṣu dantinaḥ cakravālādrikuñjeṣu kundabhāso guṇāś ca te śyāmalāḥ prāvṛṣeṇyābhir diśo jīmūtapaṅktibhiḥ bhuvaś ca sukumārābhir navaśādvalarājibhiḥ viṣṇunā vikramasthena dānavānāṃ vibhūtayaḥ kvāpi nītāḥ kuto 'py āsann ānītā daivatarddhayaḥ ity ādidīpakāny uktāny evaṃ madhyāntayor api vākyayor darśayiṣyāmaḥ kāni cittāni tadyathā nṛtyanti niculotsaṅge gāyanti ca kalāpinaḥ badhnanti ca payodeṣu dṛśo harṣāśrugarbhiṇīḥ mando gandhavahaḥ kṣāro vahnir induś ca jāyate carcācandanapātaś ca śastrapātaḥ pravāsinām jalaṃ jaladharodgīrṇaṃ kulaṃ gṛhaśikhaṇḍinām calaṃ ca taḍitāṃ dāma balaṃ kusumadhanvanaḥ tvayā nīlotpalaṃ karṇe smareṇāstraṃ śarāsane mayāpi maraṇe cetas trayam etat samaṃ kṛtam śuklaḥ śvetārciṣo vṛddhyai pakṣaḥ pañcaśarasya saḥ sa ca rāgasya rāgo 'pi yūnāṃ ratyutsavaśriyaḥ ity ādidīpakatve 'pi pūrvapūrvavyapekṣiṇī vākyamālā prayukteti tan mālādīpakaṃ matam avalepam anaṅgasya vardhayanti balāhakāḥ karśayanti tu gharmasya mārutoddhūtaśīkarāḥ avalepapadenātra balāhakapadena ca kriye viruddhe saṃyukte tad viruddhārthaṃ dīpakam haraty ābhogam āśānāṃ gṛhṇāti jyotiṣāṃ gaṇam ādatte cādya me prāṇān asau jaladharāvalī anekaśabdopādānāt kriyaikaivātra dīpyate yato jaladharāvalyā tasmād ekārthadīpakam hṛdyagandhavahās tuṅgās tamālaśyāmalatviṣaḥ divi bhramanti jīmūtā bhuvi caite mataṃgajāḥ atra dharmair abhinnānām abhrāṇāṃ dantināṃ tathā bhramaṇenaiva saṃbandha iti śliṣṭārthadīpakam anenaiva prakāreṇa śeṣāṇām api dīpake vikalpānām avagatir vidhātavyā vicakṣaṇaiḥ arthāvṛttiḥ padāvṛttir ubhayāvṛttir eva ca dīpakasthāna eveṣṭam alaṃkāratrayaṃ yathā vikasanti kadambāni sphuṭanti kuṭajadrumāḥ unmīlanti ca kandalyo dalanti kakubhāni ca utkaṇṭhayati meghānāṃ mālā vṛndaṃ kalāpinām yūnāṃ cotkaṇṭhayaty eva mānasaṃ makaradhvajaḥ jitvā viśvaṃ bhavān atra viharaty avarodhanaiḥ viharaty apsarobhis te ripuvargo divaṃ gataḥ pratiṣedhoktir ākṣepas traikālyāpekṣayā tridhā athāsya punar ākṣepyabhedānantyād anantatā anaṅgaḥ pañcabhiḥ puṣpair viśvaṃ vyajayateṣubhiḥ ity asaṃbhāvyam athavā vicitrā vastuśaktayaḥ ity anaṅgajayāyogabuddhir hetubalād iha pravṛttaiva yad ākṣiptā vṛttākṣepaḥ sa īdṛśaḥ kutaḥ kuvalayaṃ karṇe karoṣi kalabhāṣiṇi kim apāṅgam aparyāptam asmin karmaṇi manyase sa vartamānākṣepo 'yaṃ kurvaty evāsitotpala karṇe kācit priyeṇaivaṃ cāṭukāreṇa rudhyate satyaṃ bravīmi na tvaṃ māṃ draṣṭuṃ vallabha lapsyase anyacumbanasaṃkrāntalākṣāraktena cakṣuṣā so 'yaṃ bhaviṣyadākṣepaḥ prāg evātimanasvinī kadācid aparādho 'sya bhāvīty evam arundhayat tava tanvaṅgi mithyaiva rūḍham aṅgeṣu mārdavam yadi satyaṃ mṛdūny eva kim akāṇḍe rujanti mām dharmākṣepo 'yam ākṣiptam aṅganāgātramārdavam kāmukena yad atraivaṃ karmaṇā tadvirodhinā sundarī sā bhavaty evaṃ vivekaḥ kena jāyate prabhāmātraṃ hi taralaṃ dṛśyate na tadāśrayaḥ dharmyākṣepo 'yam ākṣipto dharmī dharmaṃ prabhāhvayam anujñāyaiva yad rūpam atyāścaryaṃ vivakṣatā cakṣuṣī tava rajyete sphuraty adharapallavaḥ bhruvau ca bhugne na tathāpy aduṣṭasyāsti me bhayam sa eṣa kāraṇākṣepaḥ pradhānaṃ kāraṇaṃ bhiyaḥ svāparādho niṣiddho 'tra yat priyeṇa paṭīyasā dūre priyatamaḥ so 'yam āgato jaladāgamaḥ dṛṣṭāś ca phullā niculā na mṛtā cāsmi kiṃ nv idam kāryākṣepaḥ sa kāryasya maraṇasya nivartanāt tatkāraṇam upanyasya dāruṇaṃ jaladāgamam na ciraṃ mama tāpāya tava yātrā bhaviṣyati yadi yāsyasi yātavyam alam āśaṅkayātra te ity anujñāmukhenaiva kāntasyākṣipyate gatiḥ maraṇaṃ sūcayantyaiva so 'nujñākṣepa ucyate dhanaṃ ca bahu labhyaṃ te sukhaṃ kṣemaṃ ca vartmani na ca me prāṇasaṃdehas tathāpi priya mā sma gāḥ ity ācakṣāṇayā hetūn priyayātrānubandhinaḥ prabhutvenaiva ruddhas tat prabhutvākṣepa ucyate jīvitāśā balavatī dhanāśā durbalā mama gaccha vā tiṣṭha vā kānta svavasthā tu niveditā asāv anādarākṣepo yad anādaravad vacaḥ priyaprayāṇaṃ rundhatyā prayuktam iha raktayā gaccha gacchasi cet kānta panthānaḥ santu te śivāḥ mamāpi janma tatraiva bhūyād yatra gato bhavān ity āśīrvacanākṣepo yad āśīrvādavartmanā svāvasthāṃ sūcayantyaiva kāntayātrā niṣidhyate yadi satyaiva yātrā te kāpy anyā mṛgyatāṃ tvayā aham adyaiva ruddhāsmi randhrāpekṣeṇa mṛtyunā ity eṣa paruṣākṣepaḥ paruṣākṣarapūrvakam kāntasyākṣipyate yasmāt prasthānaṃ premanighnayā gantā ced gaccha tūrṇaṃ te karṇau yānti purā ravāḥ ārtabandhumukhodgīrṇāḥ prayāṇaparipanthinaḥ sācivyākṣepa evaiṣa yad atra pratiṣidhyate priyaprayāṇaṃ sācivyaṃ kurvaty evātiraktayā gaccheti vaktum icchāmi matpriya tvatpriyaiṣiṇī nirgacchati mukhād vāṇī mā gā iti karomi kim yatnākṣepaḥ sa yatnasya kṛtasyāniṣṭavastuni viparītaphalotpatter ānarthakyopadarśanāt kṣaṇaṃ darśanavighnāya pakṣmaspandāya kupyataḥ premṇaḥ prayāṇaṃ tvaṃ brūhi mayā tasyeṣṭam iṣyate so 'yaṃ paravaśākṣepo yat premaparatantrayā tayā niṣidhyate yātrānyasyārthasyopasūcanāt sahiṣye virahaṃ nātha dehy adṛśyāñjanaṃ mama yad aktanetrāṃ kandarpaḥ prahartā māṃ na paśyati duṣkaraṃ jīvanopāyam upanyasyoparudhyate patyuḥ prasthānam ity āhur upāyākṣepam īdṛśam pravṛttaiva prayāmīti vāṇī vallabha te mukhāt ayatāpi tvayedānīṃ mandapremṇā mamāsti kim roṣākṣepo 'yam udriktasnehaniryantritātmanā saṃrabdhayā priyārabdhaṃ prayāṇaṃ yan niṣidhyate mugdhā kāntasya yātroktiśravaṇād eva mūrchitā buddhvā vakti priyaṃ dṛṣṭvā kiṃ cireṇāgato bhavān iti tatkālasambhūtamūrchayākṣipyate gatiḥ kāntasya kātarākṣyā yan mūrchākṣepaḥ sa īdṛśaḥ nāghrātaṃ na kṛtaṃ karṇe strībhir madhuni nārpitam tvaddviṣāṃ dīrghikāsyeva viśīrṇaṃ nīlam utpalam asāv anukrośākṣepaḥ sānukrośam ivotpale vyāvartya karma tadyogyaṃ śocyāvasthopadarśanāt amṛtātmani padmānāṃ dveṣṭari snigdhatārake mukhendau tava satyasmin apareṇa kim indunā iti mukhendur ākṣipto guṇān gauṇenduvartinaḥ tatsamān darśayitveha śliṣṭākṣepas tathāvidhaḥ artho na saṃbhṛtaḥ kaścin na vidyā kācid arcitā na tapaḥ saṃcintaṃ kiṃcid gataṃ ca sakalaṃ vayaḥ asāv anuśayākṣepo yasmād anuśayottaram arthārjanāder vyāvṛttir darśiteha gatāyuṣā kim ayaṃ śaradambhodaḥ kiṃ vā haṃsakadambakam rutaṃ nūpurasaṃvādi śrūyate tan na toyadaḥ ity ayaṃ saṃśayākṣepaḥ saṃśayo yan nivartyate dharmeṇa haṃsasulabhenāspṛṣṭaghanajānitā citram ākrāntaviśvo 'pi vikramas te na tṛpyati kadā vā dṛśyate tṛptir udīrṇasya havirbhujaḥ ayam arthāntarākṣepaḥ prakrānto yan nivāryate vismayo 'rthāntarasyeha darśanāt tatsadharmaṇaḥ na stūyase narendra tvaṃ dadāsīti kadācana svam eva matvā gṛhṇanti yatas tvaddhanam arthinaḥ ityevamādir ākṣepo hetvākṣepa iti smṛtaḥ anenaiva diśānye 'pi vikalpāḥ śakyam ūhitum jñeyaḥ so 'rthāntaranyāso vastu prastutya kiṃcana tatsādhanasamarthasya nyāso yo 'nyasya vastunaḥ viśvavyāpī viśeṣasthaḥ śleṣāviddho virodhavān ayuktakārī yuktātmā yuktāyukto viparyayaḥ ityevamādayo bhedāḥ prayogeṣv asya lakṣitāḥ udāharaṇamālaiṣāṃ rūpavyaktyai nidarśyate bhagavantau jagannetre sūryācandramasāv api paśya gacchata evāstaṃ niyatiḥ kena laṅghyate payomucaḥ parītāpaṃ haranty eva śarīriṇām nav ātmalābho mahatāṃ paraduḥkhopaśāntaye utpādayati lokasya prītiṃ malayamārutaḥ nanu dākṣiṇyasampannaḥ sarvasya bhavati priyaḥ jagad ānandayaty eṣa malino 'pi niśākaraḥ anugṛhṇāti hi parān sadoṣo 'pi dvijeśvaraḥ madhupānakalāt kaṇṭhān nirgato 'py alināṃ dhvaniḥ kaṭur bhavati karṇasya kāmināṃ pāpam īdṛśam ayaṃ mama dahaty aṅgam ambhojadalasaṃstaraḥ hutāśanapratinidhir dāhātmā nanu yujyate kṣiṇotu kāmaṃ śītāṃśuḥ kiṃ vasanto dunoti mām malinācaritaṃ karma surabher nanv asāṃpratam kumudāny api dāhāya kim ayaṃ kamalākaraḥ na hīndugṛhyeṣūgreṣu sūryagṛhyo madhur bhavet śabdopātte pratīte vā sādṛśye vastunor dvayoḥ tatra yad bhedakathanaṃ vyatirekaḥ sa kathyate dhairyalāvaṇyagāmbhīryapramukhais tvam udanvataḥ guṇais tulyo 'si bhedas tu vapuṣaivedṛśena te ity ekavyatireko 'yaṃ dharmeṇaikatravartinā pratītiviṣayaprāpter bhedasyobhayavartinaḥ abhinnavelau gambhīrāv amburāśir bhavān api asāv añjanasaṃkāśas tvaṃ tu cāmīkaradyutiḥ ubhayavyatireko 'yam ubhayor bhedakau guṇau kārṣṇyaṃ piśaṅgatā cobhau yat pṛthag darśitāv iha tvaṃ samudraś ca durvārau mahāsattvau satejasau ayaṃ tu yuvayor bhedaḥ sa jaḍātmā paṭur bhavān sa eṣa śleṣarūpatvāt saśleṣa iti gṛhyatām sākṣepaś ca sahetuś ca darśyate tad api dvayam sthitimān api dhīro 'pi ratnānām ākaro 'pi san tava kakṣāṃ na yāty eva malino makarālayaḥ vahann api mahīṃ kṛtsnāṃ saśailadvīpasāgarām bhartṛbhāvād bhujaṅgānāṃ śeṣas tvatto nikṛṣyate śabdopādānasādṛśyavyatireko 'yam īdṛśaḥ pratīyamānasādṛśyo 'py asti so 'py abhidhīyate tvanmukhaṃ kamalaṃ ceti dvayor apy anayor bhidā kamalaṃ jalasaṃrohi tvanmukhaṃ tvadupāśrayam abhrūvilāsam aspṛṣṭamadarāgaṃ mṛgekṣaṇam idaṃ tu nayanadvandvaṃ tava tadguṇabhūṣitam pūrvasmin bhedamātroktir asmin ādhikyadarśanam sadṛśavyatirekaś ca punar anyaḥ pradarśyate tvanmukhaṃ puṇḍarīkaṃ ca phulle surabhigandhinī bhramadbhramaram ambhojaṃ lolanetraṃ mukhaṃ tu te candro 'yam ambarottaṃso haṃso 'yaṃ toyabhūṣaṇam nabho nakṣatramālīdam utphullakumudaṃ payaḥ pratīyamānaśauklyādisāmyayor viyadambhasoḥ kṛtaḥ pratītaśuddhyoś ca bhedo 'smiṃś candrahaṃsayoḥ pūrvatra śābdavat sāmyam ubhayatrāpi bhedakam bhṛṅganetrādi tulyaṃ tat sadṛśavyatirekatā aratnālokasaṃhāryam ahāryaṃ sūryaraśmibhiḥ dṛṣṭirodhakaraṃ yūnāṃ yauvanaprabhavaṃ tamaḥ sajātīvyatireko 'yaṃ tamojāter idaṃ tamaḥ dṛṣṭirodhitayā tulyaṃ bhinnam anyair adarśi tat prasiddhahetuvyāvṛttyā yat kiṃcit kāraṇāntaram yatra svābhāvikatvaṃ vā vibhāvyaṃ sā vibhāvanā apītakṣībakādambam asaṃmṛṣṭābhalāmbaram aprasāditaśuddhāmbu jagad āsīn manoharam anañjitāsitā dṛṣṭir bhrūr anāvarjitā natā arañjito 'ruṇaś cāyam adharas tava sundari yad apītādijanyaṃ syāt kṣībatvādyanyahetujam ahetukaṃ ca tasyeha vivakṣety aviruddhatā vaktraṃ nisargasurabhi vapur avyājasundaram akāraṇaripuś candro nirnimittāsuhṛt smaraḥ nisargādipadair atra hetuḥ sākṣān nivartitaḥ uktaṃ ca surabhitvādi phalaṃ tat sā vibhāvanā vastu kiṃcid abhipretya tattulyasyānyavastunaḥ uktiḥ saṃkṣeparūpatvāt sā samāsoktir iṣyate piban madhu yathākāmaṃ bhramaraḥ phullapaṅkaje apy asaṃnaddhasaurabhyaṃ paśya cumbati kuḍmalam iti prauḍhāṅganābaddharatilīlasya rāgiṇaḥ kasyāṃcid iha bālāyām icchāvṛttir vibhāvyate viśeṣyamātrabhinnāpi tulyākāraviśeṣaṇā asty asāv aparāpy asti bhinnābhinnaviśeṣaṇā rūḍhamūlaḥ phalabharaiḥ puṣṇann aniśam arthinaḥ sāndracchāyo mahāvṛkṣaḥ so 'yam āsādito mayā analpaviṭapābhogaḥ phalapuṣpasamṛddhimān socchrayaḥ sthairyavān daivād eṣa labdho mayā drumaḥ ubhayatra pumān kaścid vṛkṣatvenovarṇitaḥ sarve sādhāraṇā dharmāḥ pūrvatrānyatra tu dvayam nivṛttavyālasaṃsargo nisargamadhurāśayaḥ ayam ambhonidhiḥ kaṣṭaṃ kālena pariśuṣyati ity āpūrvasamāsoktiḥ pūrvadharmanivartanāt samudreṇa samānasya puṃso vyāpattisūcanāt vivakṣā yā viśeṣasya lokasīmātivartinī asāv atiśayoktiḥ syād alaṃkārottamā yathā mallikāmālabhāriṇyaḥ sarvāṅgīṇārdracandanāḥ kṣaumavatyo na lakṣyante jyotsnāyām abhisārikāḥ candrātapasya bāhulyam uktam utkarṣavattayā saṃśayātiśayādīnāṃ vyaktyai kiṃcin nidarśyate stanayor jaghanasyāpi madhye madhyaṃ priye tava asti nāstīti saṃdeho na me 'dyāpi nivartate nirṇetuṃ śakyam astīti madhyaṃ tava nitambini
