rasajātam atīva vedhanīyaṃ sudṛḍhaṃ gṛhṇata bodhicittasaṃjñam suparīkṣitam aprameyadhībhir bahumūlyaṃ jagadekasārthavāhaiḥ gatipattanavipravāsaśīlāḥ sudṛḍhaṃ gṛhṇata bodhicittaratnam kadalīva phalaṃ vihāya yāti kṣayamanyatkuśalaṃ hi sarvameva satataṃ phalati kṣayaṃ na yāti prasavaty eva tu bodhicittavṛkṣaḥ kṛtvāpi pāpāni sudāruṇāni yadāśrayāduttarati kṣaṇena śūrāśrayeṇeva mahābhayāni nāśrīyate tatkathamajñasattvaiḥ yugāntakālānalavan mahānti pāpāni yan nirdahati kṣaṇena yasyānuśaṃsān amitān uvāca maitreyanāthaḥ sudhanāya dhīmān tadbodhicittaṃ dvividhaṃ vijñātavyaṃ samāsataḥ bodhipraṇidhicittaṃ ca bodhiprasthānameva ca gantukāmasya gantuśca yathā bhedaḥ pratīyate tathā bhedo'nayorjñeyo yathāsaṃkhyena paṇḍitaiḥ bodhipraṇidhicittasya saṃsāre'pi phalaṃ mahat na tv avicchinnapuṇyatvaṃ yathā prasthānacetasaḥ yataḥ prabhṛtyaparyantasattvadhātupramokṣaṇe samādadāti taccittam anivartyena cetasā tataḥ prabhṛti suptasya pramattasyāpyanekaśaḥ avicchinnāḥ puṇyadhārāḥ pravartante nabhaḥsamāḥ idaṃ subāhupṛcchāyāṃ sopapattikamuktavān hīnādhimuktisattvārthaṃ svayameva tathāgataḥ śiraḥśūlāni sattvānāṃ nāśayāmīti cintayan aprameyeṇa puṇyena gṛhyate sma hitāśayaḥ kim utāpramitaṃ śūlamekaikasya jihīrṣataḥ aprameyaguṇaṃ sattvamekaikaṃ ca cikīrṣataḥ kasya mātuḥ piturvāpi hitāśaṃseyamīdṛśī devatānāmṛṣīṇāṃ vā brahmaṇāṃ vā bhaviṣyati teṣāmeva ca sattvānāṃ svārthe'pyeṣa manorathaḥ notpannapūrvaḥ svapne'pi parārthe sambhavaḥ kutaḥ sattvaratnaviśeṣo'yamapūrvo jāyate katham yatparārthāśayo'nyeṣāṃ na svārthe'pyupajāyate jagadānandabījasya jagadduḥkhauṣadhasya ca cittaratnasya yatpuṇyaṃ tatkathaṃ hi pramīyatām hitāśaṃsanamātreṇa buddhapūjā viśiṣyate kiṃ punaḥ sarvasattvānāṃ sarvasaukhyārthamudyamāt duḥkhamevābhidhāvanti duḥkhaniḥsaraṇāśayā sukhecchayaiva sammohāt svasukhaṃ ghnanti śatruvat yasteṣāṃ sukharaṅkāṇāṃ pīḍitānāmanekaśaḥ tṛptiṃ pūrvasukhaiḥ kuryātsarvāḥ pīḍāśchinatti ca nāśayatyapi sammohaṃ sādhustena samaḥ kutaḥ kuto vā tādṛśaṃ mitraṃ puṇyaṃ vā tādṛśaṃ kutaḥ kṛte yaḥ pratikurvīta so 'pi tāvatpraśasyate avyāpāritasādhustu bodhisattvaḥ kimucyatām katipayajanasattradāyakaḥ kuśalakṛdityabhipūjyate janaiḥ kṣaṇamaśanakamātradānataḥ saparibhavaṃ divasārdhayāpanāt kimu niravadhisattvasaṃkhyayā niravadhikālam anuprayacchataḥ gaganajanaparikṣayākṣayaṃ sakalamanorathasaṃprapūraṇam iti sattrapatau jinasya putre kaluṣaṃ sve hṛdaye karoti yaśca kaluṣodayasaṃkhyayā sa kalpān narakeṣvāvasatīti nātha āha atha yasya manaḥ prasādameti prasavet tasya tato'dhikaṃ phalam mahatā hi balena pāpakarma jinaputreṣu śubhaṃ tv ayatnataḥ teṣāṃ śarīrāṇi pravartantāṃ nirantaram mañjughoṣaprabhṛtayaḥ pūjayanti yathā jinān tathā tathāgatān nāthān saputrān pūjayāmyaham svarāṅgasāgaraiḥ stotraiḥ staumi cāhaṃ guṇodadhīn stutisaṃgītimeghāśca saṃbhavantveṣv ananyathā sarvakṣetrāṇusaṃkhyaiśca praṇāmaiḥ praṇamāmyaham sarvatrādhvagatānbuddhānsahadharmagaṇottamān sarcacaityāni vande'haṃ bodhisattvāśrayāṃstathā namaḥ karomyupādhyāyān abhivandyān yatīṃstathā buddhaṃ gacchāmi śaraṇaṃ yāvad ābodhimaṇḍataḥ dharmaṃ gacchāmi śaraṇaṃ bodhisattvagaṇaṃ tathā vijñāpayāmi sambuddhānsarvadikṣu vyavasthitān mahākāruṇikāṃścāpi bodhisattvānkṛtāñjaliḥ anādimati saṃsāre janmanyatraiva vā punaḥ yanmayā paśunā pāpaṃ kṛtaṃ kāritameva vā yac cānumoditaṃ kiṃcidātmaghātāya mohataḥ tadatyayaṃ deśayāmi paścāttāpena tāpitaḥ ratnatraye'pakāro yo mātāpitṛṣu vā mayā guruṣvanyeṣu vā kṣepātkāyavāgbuddhibhiḥ kṛtaḥ anekadoṣaduṣṭena mayā pāpena nāyakāḥ yatkṛtaṃ dāruṇaṃ pāpaṃ tatsarvaṃ deśayāmyaham kathaṃ ca niḥsarāmyasmān nityodvego'smi nāyakāḥ mā bhūn me mṛtyuracirādakṣīṇe pāpasaṃcaye kathaṃ ca niḥsarāmyasmāt paritrāyata satvaram mā mamākṣīṇapāpasya maraṇaṃ śīghrameṣyati kṛtākṛtāparīkṣo'yaṃ mṛtyurviśrambhaghātakaḥ svasthāsvasthair aviśvāsya ākasmikamahāśaniḥ priyāpriyanimittena pāpaṃ kṛtamanekadhā sarvamutsṛjya gantavyamiti na jñātamīdṛśam tattatsmaraṇatāṃ yāti yadyadvastvanubhūyate svapnānubhūtavatsarvaṃ gataṃ na punarīkṣyate apriyā na bhaviṣyanti priyo me na bhaviṣyati ahaṃ ca na bhaviṣyāmi sarvaṃ ca na bhaviṣyati ihaiva tiṣṭhatastāvadgatā naike priyāpriyāḥ tannimittaṃ tu yatpāpaṃ tatsthitaṃ ghoramagrataḥ evamāgantuko'smīti na mayā pratyavekṣitam mohānunayavidvaiṣaiḥ kṛtaṃ pāpamanekadhā rātriṃdivam aviśrāmamāyuṣo vardhate vyayaḥ āyasya cāgamo nāsti na mariṣyāmi kiṃ nv aham iha śayyāgatenāpi bandhumadhye'pi tiṣṭhatā mayaivaikena soḍhavyā marmacchedādivedanā yamadūtairgṛhītasya kuto bandhuḥ kutaḥ suhṛt puṇyamekaṃ tadā trāṇaṃ mayā tac ca na sevitam anityajīvitāsaṅgādidaṃ bhayam ajānatā pramattena mayā nāthā bahu pāpam upārjitam aṅgacchedārthamapyadya nīyamāno viśuṣyati pipāsito dīnadṛṣṭiranyadevekṣate jagat kiṃ punarbhairavākārairyamadūtairadhiṣṭhitaḥ mahātrāsajvaragrastaḥ purīṣotsargaveṣṭitaḥ kātarairdṛṣṭipātaiśca trāṇānveṣī caturdiśam ko me mahābhayādasmātsādhustrāṇaṃ bhaviṣyati trāṇaśūnyā diśo dṛṣṭvā punaḥ sammohamāgataḥ tadāhaṃ kiṃ kariṣyāmi tasminsthāne mahābhaye adyaiva śaraṇaṃ yāmi jagannāthān mahābalān jagadrakṣārtham udyuktān sarvatrāsaharāñjinān taiścāpyadhigataṃ dharmaṃ saṃsārabhayanāśanam śaraṇaṃ yāmi bhāvena bodhisattvagaṇaṃ tathā samastabhadrāyātmānaṃ dadāmi bhayavihvalaḥ punaśca mañjughoṣāya dadāmyātmānamātmanā taṃ cāvalokitaṃ nāthaṃ kṛpāvyākulacāriṇam viraumyārtaravaṃ bhītaḥ sa māṃ rakṣatu pāpinam āryamākāśagarbhaṃ ca kṣitigarbhaṃ ca bhāvataḥ sarvān mahākṛpāṃścāpi trāṇānveṣī viraumyaham yaṃ dṛṣṭvaiva ca saṃtrastāḥ palāyante caturdiśam yamadūtādayo duṣṭāstaṃ namasyāmi vajriṇam atītya yuṣmadvacanaṃ sāmprataṃ bhayadarśanāt śaraṇaṃ yāmi vo bhīto bhayaṃ nāśayata drutam itvaravyādhibhīto'pi vaidyavākyaṃ na laṅghayet kimu vyādhiśatair grastaścaturbhiś caturuttaraiḥ ekenāpi yataḥ sarve jambudvīpagatā narāḥ naśyanti yeṣāṃ bhaiṣajyaṃ sarvadikṣu na labhyate tatra sarvajñavaidyasya sarvaśalyāpahāriṇaḥ vākyam ullaṅghayāmīti dhiṅ mām atyantamohitam atyapramattas tiṣṭhāmi prapāteṣvitareṣvapi kimu yojanasāhasre prapāte dīrghakālike adyaiva maraṇaṃ neti na yuktā me sukhāsikā avaśyameti sā velā na bhaviṣyāmyahaṃ yadā abhayaṃ kena me dattaṃ niḥsariṣyāmi vā katham avaśyaṃ na bhaviṣyāmi kasmānme susthitaṃ manaḥ pūrvānubhūtanaṣṭebhyaḥ kiṃ me sāramavasthitam yeṣu me 'bhiniviṣṭena gurūṇāṃ laṅghitaṃ vacaḥ jīvalokamimaṃ tyaktvā bandhūn paricitāṃstathā ekākī kvāpi yāsyāmi kiṃ me sarvaiḥ priyāpriyaiḥ iyameva tu me cintā yuktā rātriṃdivaṃ sadā aśubhān niyataṃ duḥkhaṃ niḥsareyaṃ tataḥ katham mayā bālena mūḍhena yatkiṃcitpāpamācitam prakṛtyā yac ca sāvadyaṃ prajñaptyāvadyameva ca tatsarvaṃ deśayāmyeṣa nāthānāmagrataḥ sthitaḥ kṛtāñjalirduḥkhabhītaḥ praṇipatya punaḥ punaḥ atyayamatyayatvena pratigṛhṇantu nāyakāḥ na bhadrakamidaṃ nāthā na kartavyaṃ punarmayā apāyaduḥkhaviśrāmaṃ sarvasattvaiḥ kṛtaṃśubham anumode pramodena sukhaṃ tiṣṭhantu duḥkhitāḥ saṃsāraduḥkhanirmokṣam anumode śarīriṇām bodhisattvatvabuddhatvam anumode ca tāyinām cittotpādasamudrāṃśca sarvasattvasukhāvahān sarvasattvahitādhānān anumode ca śāsinām sarvāsu dikṣu saṃbuddhān prārthayāmi kṛtāñjaliḥ dharmapradīpaṃ kurvantu mohād duḥkhaprapātinām nirvātukāmāṃśca jinān yācayāmi kṛtāñjaliḥ kalpānanantāṃstiṣṭhantu mā bhūd andhamidaṃ jagat evaṃ sarvamidaṃ kṛtvā yanmayāsāditaṃ śubham tena syāṃ sarvasattvānāṃ sarvaduḥkhapraśāntikṛt glānānāmasmi bhaiṣajyaṃ bhaveyaṃ vaidya eva ca tadupasthāyakaścaiva yāvadrogāpunarbhavaḥ kṣutpipāsāvyathāṃ hanyām annapānapravarṣaṇaiḥ durbhikṣāntarakalpeṣu bhaveyaṃ pānabhojanam daridrāṇāṃ ca sattvānāṃ nidhiḥ syāmahamakṣayaḥ nānopakaraṇākārair upatiṣṭheyamagrataḥ ātmabhāvāṃstathā bhogān sarvatrādhvagataṃ śubham nirapekṣastyajāmyeṣa sarvasattvārthasiddhaye sarvatyāgaśca nirvāṇaṃ nirvāṇārthi ca me manaḥ tyaktavyaṃ cenmayā sarvaṃ varaṃ sattveṣu dīyatām yathāsukhīkṛtaścātmā mayāyaṃ sarvadehinām ghnantu nindantu vā nityamākirantu ca pāṃsubhiḥ krīḍantu mama kāyena hasantu vilasantu ca dattastebhyo mayā kāyaścintayā kiṃ mayānayā kārayantu ca karmāṇi yāni teṣāṃ sukhāvaham anarthaḥ kasyacinmā bhūn māmālambya kadācana yeṣāṃ kruddhāprasannā vā māmālambya matirbhavet teṣāṃ sa eva hetuḥ syān nityaṃ sarvārthasiddhaye abhyākhyāsyanti māṃ ye ca ye cānye'pyapakāriṇaḥ utprāsakās tathānye'pi sarve syur bodhibhāginaḥ anāthānāmahaṃ nāthaḥ sārthavāhaśca yāyinām pārepsūnāṃ ca nodbhūtaḥ setuḥ saṃkrama eva ca dīpārthināmahaṃ dīpaḥ śayyā śayyārthināmaham dāsārthināmahaṃ dāso bhaveyaṃ sarvadehinām cintāmaṇirbhadraghaṭaḥ siddhavidyā mahauṣadhiḥ bhaveyaṃ kalpavṛkṣaśca kāmadhenuśca dehinām pṛthivyādīni bhūtāni niḥśeṣākāśavāsinām sattvānām aprameyāṇāṃ yathābhogānyanekadhā evamākāśaniṣṭhasya sattvadhātoranekadhā bhaveyamupajīvyo'haṃ yāvatsarve na nirvṛtāḥ yathā gṛhītaṃ sugatairbodhicittaṃ purātanaiḥ te bodhisattvaśikṣāyām ānupūrvyā yathā sthitāḥ tadvadutpādayāmyeṣa bodhicittaṃ jagaddhite tadvadeva ca tāḥ śikṣāḥ śikṣiṣyāmi yathākramam evaṃ gṛhītvā matimān bodhicittaṃ prasādataḥ punaḥ pṛṣṭhasya puṣṭyarthaṃ cittamevaṃ praharṣayet adya me saphalaṃ janma sulabdho mānuṣo bhavaḥ adya buddhakule jāto buddhaputro'smi sāmpratam tathādhunā mayā kāryaṃ svakulocitakāriṇām nirmalasya kulasyāsya kalaṅko na bhavedyathā andhaḥ saṃkarakūṭebhyo yathā ratnamavāpnuyāt tathā kathaṃcidapyetad bodhicittaṃ mamoditam jaganmṛtyuvināśāya jātametadrasāyanam jagaddāridryaśamanaṃ nidhānamidamakṣayam jagadvyādhipraśamanaṃ bhaiṣajyamidamuttamam bhavādhvabhramaṇaśrānto jagadviśrāmapādapaḥ durgatyuttaraṇe setuḥ sāmānyaḥ sarvayāyinām jagatkleśoṣmaśamana uditaścittacandramāḥ jagadajñānatimiraprotsāraṇamahāraviḥ saddharmakṣīramathanān navanītaṃ samutthitam sukhabhogabubhukṣitasya vā janasārthasya bhavādhvacāriṇaḥ sukhasattramidaṃ hy upasthitaṃ sakalābhyāgatasattvatarpaṇam jagadadya nimantritaṃ mayā sugatatvena sukhena cāntarā purataḥ khalu sarvatāyināmabhinandantu surāsurādayaḥ evaṃ gṛhītvā sudṛḍhaṃ bodhicittaṃ jinātmajaḥ śikṣānatikrame yatnaṃ kuryān nityam atandritaḥ sahasā yatsamārabdhaṃ samyag yadavicāritam tatra kuryān navety evaṃ pratijñāyāpi yujyate vicāritaṃ tu yadbuddhairmahāprājñaiśca tatsutaiḥ mayāpi ca yathāśakti tatra kiṃ parilambyate yadicaivaṃ pratijñāya sādhayeyaṃ na karmaṇā etāṃ sarvāṃ visaṃvādya kā gatirme bhaviṣyati manasā cintayitvāpi yo na dadyātpunarnaraḥ sa preto bhavatītyuktam alpamātre'pi vastuni kimutānuttaraṃ saukhyam uccair uddhuṣya bhāvataḥ jagatsarvaṃ visaṃvādya kā gatirme bhaviṣyati vetti sarvajña evaitāmacintyāṃ karmaṇo gatim yadbodhicittatyāge'pi mocayatyeva tānnarān bodhisattvasya tenaivaṃ sarvāpattirgarīyasī yasmādāpadyamāno'sau sarvasattvārthahānikṛt yo 'pyanyaḥ kṣaṇamapyasya puṇyavighnaṃ kariṣyati tasya durgatiparyanto nāsti sattvārthaghātinaḥ ekasyāpi hi sattvasya hitaṃ hatvā hato bhavet aśeṣākāśaparyantavāsināṃ kim u dehinām evamāpattibalato bodhicittabalena ca dolāyamānaḥ saṃsāre bhūmiprāptaś cirāyate nādya cetkriyate yatnastalenāsmi talaṃ gataḥ aprameyā gatā buddhāḥ sarvasattvagaveṣakāḥ naiṣāmahaṃ svadoṣeṇa cikitsāgocaraṃ gataḥ adyāpi cet tathaiva syāṃ yathaivāhaṃ punaḥ punaḥ durgativyādhimaraṇacchedabhedādy avāpnuyām kadā tathāgatotpādaṃ śraddhāṃ mānuṣyameva vā kuśalābhyāsayogyatvam evaṃ lapsye'ti durlabham ārogyadivasaṃ cedaṃ sabhaktaṃ nirupadravam āyuḥ kṣaṇaṃ visaṃvādi kāyo yācitakopamaḥ nahīdṛśair maccaritair mānuṣyaṃ labhyate punaḥ alabhyamāne mānuṣye pāpameva kutaḥ śubham yadā kuśalayogyo'pi kuśalaṃ na karomyaham apāyaduḥkhaiḥ saṃmūḍhaḥ kiṃ kariṣyāmy ahaṃ tadā akurvataśca kuśalaṃ pāpaṃ cāpyupacinvataḥ hataḥ sugataśabdo'pi kalpakoṭiśatairapi ata evāha bhagavānmānuṣamatidurlabham mahārṇavayugacchidrakūrmagrīvārpaṇopamam ekakṣaṇātkṛtātpāpādavīcau kalpamāpsyate anādikālopacitāt pāpātkā sugatau kathā na ca tanmātramevāsau vedayitvā vimucyate yasyāttad vedayann eva pāpamanyatprasūyate nātaḥparā vañcanāsti na ca moho'styataḥparaḥ yadīdṛśaṃ kṣaṇaṃ prāpya nābhyastaṃ kuśalaṃ mayā yadi caivaṃ vimṛṣyāmi punaḥ sīdāmi mohitaḥ śociṣyāmi ciraṃ bhūyo yamadūtaiḥ pracoditaḥ ciraṃ dhakṣyati me kāyaṃ nārakāgniḥ suduḥsahaḥ paścāttāpānalaścittaṃ ciraṃ dhakṣyati niścitam kathaṃcidapi samprāpto hitabhūmiṃ sudurlabhām jānann api ca nīye 'haṃ tāneva narakānpunaḥ atra me cetanā nāsti mantrairiva vimohitaḥ na jāne kena muhyāmi ko 'trāntar mama tiṣṭhati hastapādādirahitās tṛṣṇādveṣādiśatravaḥ na śurā na ca te prājñāḥ kathaṃ dāsīkṛto'smi taiḥ maccittāvasthitā eva ghnanti māmeva susthitāḥ tatrāpyahaṃ na kupyāmi dhig asthānasahiṣṇutām sarve devā manuṣyāśca yadi syur mama śatravaḥ te 'pi nāvīcikaṃ vahniṃ samudānayituṃ kṣamāḥ merorapi yadāsaṅgān na bhasmāpyupalabhyate kṣaṇātkṣipanti māṃ tatra balinaḥ kleśaśatravaḥ nahi sarvānyaśatrūṇāṃ dīrghamāyurapīdṛśam anādyantaṃ mahādīrghaṃ yanmama kleśavairiṇām sarve hitāya kalpante ānukūlyena sevitāḥ sevyamānāstvamī kleśāḥ sutarāṃ duḥkhakārakāḥ itisatatadīrghavairiṣu vyasanaughaprasavaikahetuṣu hṛdaye nivasatsu nirbhayaṃ mama saṃsāraratiḥ kathaṃ bhavet bhavacārakapālakā ime narakādiṣvapi vadhyaghātakāḥ mativeśmani lobhapañjare yadi tiṣṭhati kutaḥ sukhaṃ mama tasmān na tāvadahamatra dhuraṃ kṣipāmi yāvan na śatrava ime nihatāḥ samakṣam khalpe'pi tāvadapakāriṇi baddharoṣā mānonnatās tam anihatya na yānti nidrām prakṛtimaraṇaduḥkhitāndhakārān raṇaśirasi praśamaṃ nihantumugrāḥ agaṇitaśaraśaktighātaduḥkhā na vimukhatām upayānty asādhayitvā kimuta satatasarvaduḥkhahetūn prakṛtiripūnupahantumudyatasya bhavati mama viṣādadainyamadya vyasanaśatairapi kena hetunā vai akāraṇenaiva ripukṣatāni gātreṣv alaṃkāravadudvahanti mahārhasiddhyai tu samudyatasya duḥkhāni kasmānmama bādhakāni svajīvikāmātranibaddhacittāḥ kaivartacaṇḍālakṛṣīvalādyāḥ śītātapādivyasanaṃ sahante jagaddhitārthaṃ na kathaṃ sahe'ham daśadigvyomaparyantajagatkleśavimokṣaṇe pratijñāya mahātmāpi na kleśebhyo vimocitaḥ ātmapramāṇam ajñātvā bruvannunmattakastadā anivartī bhaviṣyāmi tasmātkleśavadhe sadā atra grahī bhaviṣyāmi baddhavairaśca vigrahī anyatra tadvidhāt kleśāt kleśaghātānubandhinaḥ galantvantrāṇi me kāmaṃ śiraḥ patatu nāma me na tv evāvanatiṃ yāmi sarvathā kleśavairiṇām nirvāsitasyāpi tu nāma śatrordeśāntare sthānaparigrahaḥ syāt yataḥ punaḥ saṃbhṛtaśaktireti na kleśaśatrorgatirīdṛśī tu kvāsau yāyānmanaḥstho nirastaḥ sthitvā yasminmadvadhārthaṃ yateta nodyogo me kevalaṃ mandabuddheḥ kleśāḥ prajñādṛṣṭisādhyā varākāḥ na kleśā viṣayeṣu nendriyagaṇe nāpyantarāle sthitā nāto'nyatra kuhasthitāḥ punarime mathnanti kṛtsnaṃ jagat māyaiveyamato vimuñca hṛdayatrāsaṃ bhajasvodyamaṃ prajñārthaṃ kimakāṇḍa eva narakeṣvātmānam ābādhase evaṃ viniścitya karomi yatnaṃ yathoktaśikṣāpratipattihetoḥ vaidyopadeśāc calataḥ kuto'sti bhaiṣajyasādhyasya nirāmayatvam śikṣāṃ rakṣitukāmena cittaṃ rakṣyaṃ prayatnataḥ na śikṣā rakṣituṃ śakyā calaṃ cittamarakṣatā adāntā mattamātaṃgā na kurvantīha tāṃ vyathām karoti yāmavīcyādau muktaścittamataṃgajaḥ baddhaś cec cittamātaṃgaḥ smṛtirajjvā samantataḥ bhayamastaṃ gataṃ sarvaṃ kṛtsnaṃ kalyāṇamāgatam vyāghrāḥ siṃhā gajā ṛkṣāḥ sarpāḥ sarve ca śatravaḥ sarve narakapālāś ca ḍākinyo rākṣasāstathā sarve baddhā bhavantyete cittasyaikasya bandhanāt cittasyaikasya damanāt sarve dāntā bhavanti ca yasmādbhayāni sarvāṇi duḥkhāny apramitāni ca cittādeva bhavantīti kathitaṃ tattvavādinā śastrāṇi kena narake ghaṭitāni prayatnataḥ taptāyaḥkuṭṭimaṃ kena kuto jātāśca tāḥ striyaḥ pāpacittasamudbhūtaṃ tattatsarvaṃ jagau muniḥ tasmān na kaścit trailokye cittādanyo bhayānakaḥ adaridraṃ jagatkṛtvā dānapāramitā yadi jagad daridram adyāpi sā kathaṃ pūrvatāyinām phalena saha sarvasvatyāgacittāj jane'khile dānapāramitā proktā tasmāt sā cittameva tu matsyādayaḥ kva nīyantāṃ mārayeyaṃ yato na tān labdhe viraticitte tu śīlapāramitā matā kiyato mārayiṣyāmi durjanān gaganopamān mārite krodhacitte tu māritāḥ sarvaśatravaḥ bhūmiṃ chādayituṃ sarvāṃ kutaścarma bhaviṣyati upānaṭcarmamātreṇa channā bhavati medinī bāhyā bhāvā mayā tadvacchakyā vārayituṃ na hi svacittaṃ vārayiṣyāmi kiṃ mamānyairnivāritaiḥ sahāpi vākcharīrābhyāṃ mandavṛtterna tatphalam yatpaṭorekakasyāpi cittasya brahmatādikam japāstapāṃsi sarvāṇi dīrghakālakṛtānyapi anyacittena mandena vṛthaivetyāha sarvavit duḥkhaṃ hantuṃ sukhaṃ prāptuṃ te bhramanti mudhāmbare yair etad dharmasarvasvaṃ cittaṃ guhyaṃ na bhāvitam tasmāt svadhiṣṭhitaṃ cittaṃ mayā kāryaṃ surakṣitam cittarakṣāvrataṃ muktvā bahubhiḥ kiṃ mama vrataiḥ yathā capalamadhyastho rakṣati vraṇamādarāt evaṃ durjanamadhyastho rakṣec cittavraṇaṃ sadā vraṇaduḥkhalavādbhīto rakṣati vraṇamādarāt saṃghātaparvatāghātādbhītaścittavraṇaṃ na kim anena hi vihāreṇa viharan durjaneṣvapi pramadājanamadhye'pi yatirdhīro na khaṇḍyate lābhā naśyantu me kāmaṃ satkāraḥ kāyajīvitam naśyatvanyac ca kuśalaṃ mā tu cittaṃ kadācana cittaṃ rakṣitukāmānāṃ mayaiṣa kriyate'ñjaliḥ smṛtiṃ ca samprajanyaṃ ca sarvayatnena rakṣata vyādhyākulo naro yadvan na kṣamaḥ sarvakarmasu tathābhyāṃ vyākulaṃ cittaṃ na kṣamaṃ sarvakarmasu asamprajanyacittasya śrutacintitabhāvitam sacchidrakumbhajalavan na smṛtāv avatiṣṭhate aneke śrutavanto'pi śrāddhā yatnaparā api asamprajanyadoṣeṇa bhavantyāpattikaśmalāḥ asamprajanyacaureṇa smṛtimoṣānusāriṇā upacityāpi puṇyāni muṣitā yānti durgatim kleśataskarasaṃgho'yam avatāragaveṣakaḥ prāpyāvatāraṃ muṣṇāti hanti sadgatijīvitam tasmātsmṛtirmanodvārān nāpaneyā kadācana gatāpi pratyupasthāpyā saṃsmṛtyāpāyikīṃ vyathām upādhyāyānuśāsinyā bhītyāpyādarakāriṇām dhanyānāṃ gurusaṃvāsātsukaraṃ jāyate smṛtiḥ buddhāśca bodhisattvāśca sarvatrāvyāhatekṣaṇāḥ sarvamevāgratasteṣāṃ teṣāmasmi puraḥ sthitaḥ iti dhyātvā tathā tiṣṭhettrapādarabhayānvitaḥ buddhānusmṛtirapyevaṃ bhavettasya muhurmuhuḥ samprajanyaṃ tadāyāti na ca yātyāgataṃ punaḥ smṛtiryadā manodvāre rakṣārthamavatiṣṭhate pūrvaṃ tāvadidaṃ cittaṃ sadopasthāpyamīdṛśam nirindriyeṇeva mayā sthātavyaṃ kāṣṭhavatsadā niṣphalā netravikṣepā na kartavyāḥ kadācana nidhyāyantīva satataṃ kāryā dṛṣṭir adhogatā dṛṣṭiviśrāmahetostu diśaḥ paśyetkadācana ābhāsamātraṃ dṛṣṭvā ca svāgatārthaṃ vilokayet mārgādau bhayabodhārthaṃ muhuḥ paśyec caturdiśam diśo viśramya vīkṣeta parāvṛtyeva pṛṣṭhataḥ saredapasaredvāpi puraḥ paścān nirūpya ca evaṃ sarvāsvavasthāsu kāryaṃ buddhvā samācaret kāyenaivam avastheyam ityākṣipya kriyāṃ punaḥ kathaṃ kāyaḥ sthita iti draṣṭavyaṃ punarantarā nirūpyaḥ sarvayatnena cittamattadvipastathā dharmacintāmahāstambhe yathā baddho na mucyate kutra me vartata iti pratyavekṣyaṃ tathā manaḥ samādhānadhuraṃ naiva kṣaṇamapyutsṛjedyathā bhayotsavādisambandhe yadyaśakto yathāsukham dānakāle tu śīlasya yasmāduktamupekṣaṇam yadbuddhvā kartumārabdhaṃ tato'nyan na vicintayet tadeva tāvan niṣpādyaṃ tadgatenāntarātmanā evaṃ hi sukṛtaṃ sarvamanyathā nobhayaṃ bhavet asamprajanyakleśo'pi vṛddhiṃ caivaṃ gamiṣyati nānāvidhapralāpeṣu vartamāneṣvanekadhā kautūhaleṣu sarveṣu hanyādautsukyamāgatam mṛnmardanatṛṇacchedarekhādyaphalam āgatam smṛtvā tāthāgatīṃ śikṣāṃ bhītas tatkṣaṇamutsṛjet yadā calitukāmaḥ syādvaktukāmo'pi vā bhavet svacittaṃ pratyavekṣyādau kuryāddhairyeṇa yuktimat anunītaṃ pratihataṃ yadā paśyetsvakaṃ manaḥ na kartavyaṃ na vaktavyaṃ sthātavyaṃ kāṣṭhavattadā uddhataṃ sopahāsaṃ vā yadā mānamadānvitam sotprāsātiśayaṃ vakraṃ vañcakaṃ ca mano bhavet yadātmotkarṣaṇābhāsaṃ parapaṃsanam eva ca sādhikṣepaṃ sasaṃrambhaṃ sthātavyaṃ kāṣṭhavattadā lābhasatkārakīrtyarthi parivārārthi vā punaḥ upasthānārthi me cittaṃ tasmāttiṣṭhāmi kāṣṭhavat parārtharūkṣaṃ svārthārthi pariṣatkāmameva vā vaktumicchati me cittaṃ tasmāttiṣṭhāmi kāṣṭhavat asahiṣṇvalasaṃ bhītaṃ pragalbhaṃ mukharaṃ tathā svapakṣābhiniviṣṭaṃ vā tasmāt tiṣṭhāmi kāṣṭhavat evaṃ saṃkliṣṭamālokya niṣphalārambhi vā manaḥ nigṛhṇīyād dṛḍhaṃ śūraḥ pratipakṣeṇa tatsadā suniścitaṃ suprasannaṃ dhīraṃ sādaragauravam salajjaṃ sabhayaṃ śāntaṃ parārādhanatatparam parasparaviruddhābhir bālecchābhir akheditam kleśotpādādidaṃ hy etadeṣāmiti dayānvitam ātmasattvavaśaṃ nityamanavadyeṣu vastuṣu nirmāṇamiva nirmānaṃ dhārayāmyeṣa mānasam cirātprāptaṃ kṣaṇavaraṃ smṛtvā smṛtvā muhurmuhuḥ dhārayāmīdṛśaṃ cittamaprakampyaṃ sumeruvat gṛdhrairāmiṣasaṃgṛddhaiḥ kṛṣyamāṇa itastataḥ na karotyanyathā kāyaḥ kasmādatra pratikriyām rakṣasīmaṃ manaḥ kasmādātmīkṛtya samucchrayam tvattaś cetpṛthagevāyaṃ tenātra tava ko vyayaḥ na svīkaroṣi he mūḍha kāṣṭhaputtalakaṃ śucim amedhyaghaṭitaṃ yantraṃ kasmādrakṣasi pūtikam imaṃ carmapuṭaṃ tāvatsvabuddhyaiva pṛthak kuru asthipañjarato māṃsaṃ prajñāśastreṇa mocaya asthīnyapi pṛthak kṛtvā paśya majjānamantataḥ kimatra sāramastīti svayameva vicāraya evamanviṣya yatnena na dṛṣṭaṃ sāramatra te adhunā vada kasmāttvaṃ kāyam adyāpi rakṣasi na khāditavyamaśuci tvayā peyaṃ na śoṇitam nāntrāṇi cūṣitavyāni kiṃ kāyena kariṣyasi yuktaṃ gṛdhraśṛgālāderāhārārthaṃ tu rakṣitum karmopakaraṇaṃ tv etanmanuṣyāṇāṃ śarīrakam evaṃ te rakṣataścāpi mṛtyurācchidya nirdayaḥ kāyaṃ dāsyati gṛdhrebhyastadā tvaṃ kiṃ kariṣyasi na sthāsyatīti bhṛtyāya na vastrādi pradīyate kāyo yāsyati khāditvā kasmāttvaṃ kuruṣe vyayam dattvāsmai vetanaṃ tasmātsvārthaṃ kuru mano'dhunā nahi vaitanikopāttaṃ sarvaṃ tasmai pradīyate kāye naubuddhim ādhāya gatyāgamananiścayāt yathākāmaṃgamaṃ kāyaṃ kuru sattvārthasiddhaye evaṃ vaśīkṛtasvātmā nityaṃ smitamukho bhavet tyajed bhrūkuṭisaṃkocaṃ pūrvābhāṣī jagatsuhṛt saśabdapātaṃ sahasā na pīṭhādīn vinikṣipet nāsphālayet kapāṭaṃ ca syān niḥśabdaruciḥ sadā bako biḍālaścauraśca niḥśabdo nibhṛtaścaran prāpnotyabhimataṃ kāryamevaṃ nityaṃ yatiścaret paracodanadakṣāṇām anadhīṣṭopakāriṇām pratīcchecchirasā vākyaṃ sarvaśiṣyaḥ sadā bhavet subhāṣiteṣu sarveṣu sādhukāramudīrayet puṇyakāriṇamālokya stutibhiḥ saṃpraharṣayet parokṣaṃ ca guṇān brūyād anubrūyāc ca toṣataḥ svavarṇe bhāṣyamāṇe ca bhāvayet tadguṇajñatām sarvārambhā hi tuṣṭyarthāḥ sā vittairapi durlabhā bhokṣye tuṣṭisukhaṃ tasmātparaśramakṛtairguṇaiḥ na cātra me vyayaḥ kaścitparatra ca mahatsukham aprītiduḥkhaṃ dveṣaistu mahad duḥkhaṃ paratra ca viśvastavinyastapadaṃ vispaṣṭārthaṃ manoramam śrutisaukhyaṃ kṛpāmūlaṃ mṛdumandasvaraṃ vadet ṛju paśyetsadā sattvāṃścakṣuṣā sampibanniva etāneva samāśritya buddhatvaṃ me bhaviṣyati sātatyābhiniveśotthaṃ pratipakṣotthameva ca guṇopakārikṣetre ca duḥkhite ca mahacchubham dakṣa utthānasampannaḥ svayaṃkārī sadā bhavet nāvakāśaḥ pradātavyaḥ kasyacitsarvakarmasu uttarottarataḥ śreṣṭhā dānapāramitādayaḥ netarārthaṃ tyajecchreṣṭhāmanyatrācārasetutaḥ evaṃ buddhvā parārtheṣu bhavetsatatamutthitaḥ niṣiddhamapyanujñātaṃ kṛpālorarthadarśinaḥ vinipātagatānāthavratasthān saṃvibhajya ca bhuñjīta madhyamāṃ mātrāṃ tricīvarabahistyajet saddharmasevakaṃ kāyamitarārthe na pīḍayet evameva hi sattvānām āśāmāśu prapūrayet tyajen na jīvitaṃ tasmādaśuddhe karuṇāśaye tulyāśaye tu tattyājyamitthaṃ na parihīyate dharmaṃ nirgaurave svasthe na śiroveṣṭite vadet sacchattradaṇḍaśastre ca nāvaguṇṭhitamastake gambhīrodāramalpeṣu na strīṣu puruṣaṃ vinā hīnotkṛṣṭeṣu dharmeṣu samaṃ gauravamācaret nodāradharmapātraṃ ca hīne dharme niyojayet na cācāraṃ parityajya sūtramantraiḥ pralobhayet dantakāṣṭhasya kheṭasya visarjanamapāvṛtam neṣṭaṃ jale sthale bhogye mūtrādeścāpi garhitam mukhapūraṃ na bhuñjīta saśabdaṃ prasṛtānanam pralambapādaṃ nāsīta na bāhū mardayetsamam naikayānyastriyā kuryād yānaṃ śayanamāsanam lokāprasādakaṃ sarvaṃ dṛṣṭvā pṛṣṭvā ca varjayet nāṅgulyā kārayetkiṃciddakṣiṇena tu sādaram samastenaiva hastena mārgamapyevamādiśet na bāhūtkṣepakaṃ kaṃcic chabdayed alpasambhrame acchaṭādi tu kartavyamanyathā syādasaṃvṛtaḥ nāthanirvāṇaśayyāvacchayītepsitayā diśā samprajānaṃ laghūtthānaḥ prāgavaśyaṃ niyogataḥ ācāro bodhisattvānām aprameya udāhṛtaḥ cittaśodhanamācāraṃ niyataṃ tāvadācaret rātriṃdivaṃ ca triskandhaṃ trikālaṃ ca pravartayet śeṣāpattiśamastena bodhicittajināśrayāt yā avasthāḥ prapadyeta svayaṃ paravaśo'pi vā tāsvavasthāsu yāḥ śikṣāḥ śikṣettā eva yatnataḥ na hi tadvidyate kiṃcid yan na śikṣyaṃ jinātmajaiḥ na tadasti na yatpuṇyamevaṃ viharataḥ sataḥ pāramparyeṇa sākṣādvā sattvārthaṃ nānyadācaret sattvānāmeva cārthāya sarvaṃ bodhāya nāmayet sadā kalyāṇamitraṃ ca jīvitārthe'pi na tyajet bodhisattvavratadharaṃ mahāyānārthakovidam śrīsambhavavimokṣāc ca śikṣedyadguruvartanam etac cānyac ca buddhoktaṃ jñeyaṃ sūtrāntavācanāt śikṣāḥ sūtreṣu dṛśyante tasmātsūtrāṇi vācayet ākāśagarbhe sūtre ca mūlāpattīrnirūpayet śikṣāsamuccayo'vaśyaṃ draṣṭavyaśca punaḥ punaḥ vistareṇa sadācāro yasmāttatra pradarśitaḥ saṃkṣepeṇāthavā tāvatpaśyetsūtrasamuccayam āryanāgārjunābaddhaṃ dvitīyaṃ ca prayatnataḥ yato nivāryate yatra yadeva ca niyujyate tallokacittarakṣārthaṃ śikṣāṃ dṛṣṭvā samācaret etadeva samāsena samprajanyasya lakṣaṇam yatkāyacittāvasthāyāḥ pratyavekṣā muhurmuhuḥ kāyenaiva paṭhiṣyāmi vākpāṭhena tu kiṃ bhavet cikitsāpāṭhamātreṇa rogiṇaḥ kiṃ bhaviṣyati sarvam etatsucaritaṃ dānaṃ sugatapūjanam kṛtaṃ kalpasahasrairyatpratighaḥ pratihanti tat na ca dveṣasamaṃ pāpaṃ na ca kṣāntisamaṃ tapaḥ tasmāt kṣāntiṃ prayatnena bhāvayedvividhairnayaiḥ manaḥ śamaṃ na gṛhṇāti na prītisukhamaśnute na nidrāṃ na dhṛtiṃ yāti dveṣaśalye hṛdi sthite pūjayatyarthamānairyān ye 'pi cainaṃ samāśritāḥ te 'pyenaṃ hantumicchanti svāminaṃ dveṣadurbhagam suhṛdo'pyudvijante'smād dadāti na ca sevyate saṃkṣepān nāsti tatkiṃcitkrodhano yena susthitaḥ evamādīni duḥkhāni karotītyarisaṃjñayā yaḥ krodhaṃ hanti nirbandhāt sa sukhīha paratra ca aniṣṭakaraṇāj jātamiṣṭasya ca vighātanāt daurmanasyāśanaṃ prāpya dveṣo dṛpto nihanti mām tasmād vighātayiṣyāmi tasyāśanamahaṃ ripoḥ yasmān na madvadhādanyatkṛtyamasyāsti vairiṇaḥ atyaniṣṭāgamenāpi na kṣobhyā muditā mayā daurmanasye'pi nāstīṣṭaṃ kuśalaṃ tv avahīyate yadyastyeva pratīkāro daurmanasyena tatra kim atha nāsti pratīkāro daurmanasyena tatra kim duḥkhaṃ nyakkārapāruṣyamayaśaścetyanīpsitam priyāṇāmātmano vāpi śatroścaitadviparyayāt kathaṃcil labhyate saukhyaṃ duḥkhaṃ sthitamayatnataḥ duḥkhenaiva ca niḥsāraś cetas tasmād dṛḍhībhava durgāputrakakarṇāṭā dāhacchedādivedanām vṛthā sahante muktyarthamahaṃ kasmāttu kātaraḥ na kiṃcidasti tadvastu yadabhyāsasya duṣkaram tasmānmṛduvyathābhyāsāt soḍhavyāpi mahāvyathā uddaṃśadaṃśamaśakakṣutpipāsādivedanām mahatkaṇḍvādiduḥkhaṃ ca kimanarthaṃ na paśyasi śītoṣṇavṛṣṭivātādhivyādhibandhanatāḍanaiḥ saukumāryaṃ na kartavyamanyathā vardhate vyathā kecitsvaśoṇitaṃ dṛṣṭvā vikramante viśeṣataḥ paraśoṇitamapyeke dṛṣṭvā mūrchāṃ vrajanti yat tac cittasya dṛḍhatvena kātaratvena cāgatam duḥkhaduryodhanastasmād bhavedabhibhavedvyathām duḥkhe'pi naiva cittasya prasādaṃ kṣobhayedbudhaḥ saṃgrāmo hi saha kleśairyuddhe ca sulabhā vyathā urasārātighātān ye pratīcchanto jayantyarīn te te vijayinaḥ śūrāḥ śeṣāstu mṛtamārakāḥ guṇo'paraśca duḥkhasya yatsaṃvegānmadacyutiḥ saṃsāriṣu ca kāruṇyaṃ pāpādbhītirjine spṛhā pittādiṣu na me kopo mahāduḥkhakareṣvapi sacetaneṣu kiṃ kopaḥ te 'pi pratyayakopitāḥ aniṣyamāṇam apy etacchūlam utpadyate yathā aniṣyamāṇo'pi balātkrodha utpadyate tathā kupyāmīti na saṃcintya kupyati svecchayā janaḥ utpatsya ityabhipretya krodha utpadyate na ca ye kecidaparādhāstu pāpāni vividhāni ca sarvaṃ yatpratyayabalāt svatantraṃ tu na vidyate na ca pratyayasāmagryā janayāmīti cetanā na cāpi janitasyāsti janito'smīti cetanā yatpradhānaṃ kilābhīṣṭaṃ yattadātmeti kalpitam tadeva hi bhavāmīti na saṃcintyopajāyate anutpannaṃ hi tan nāsti ka icchedbhavituṃ tadā viṣayavyāpṛtatvāc ca niroddhumapi nehate nityo hy acetanaścātmā vyomavat sphuṭamakriyaḥ pratyayāntarasaṅge'pi nirvikārasya kā kriyā yaḥ pūrvavatkriyākāle kriyāyāstena kiṃ kṛtam tasya kriyeti sambandhe katarat tannibandhanam evaṃ paravaśaṃ sarvaṃ yadvaśaṃ so 'pi cāvaśaḥ nirmāṇavadaceṣṭeṣu bhāveṣvevaṃ kva kupyate vāraṇāpi na yuktaivaṃ kaḥ kiṃ vārayatīti cet yuktā pratītyatā yasmād duḥkhasyoparatir matā tasmādamitraṃ mitraṃ vā dṛṣṭvāpyanyāyakāriṇam īdṛśāḥ pratyayā asyetyevaṃ matvā sukhī bhavet yadi tu khecchayā siddhiḥ sarveṣāmeva dehinām na bhavetkasyacidduḥkhaṃ na duḥkhaṃ kaścidicchati pramādādātmanātmānaṃ bādhante kaṇṭakādibhiḥ bhaktacchedādibhiḥ kopād durāpastryādilipsayā udbandhanaprapātaiśca viṣāpathyādibhakṣaṇaiḥ nighnanti kecid ātmānam apuṇyācaraṇena ca yadaivaṃ kleśavaśyatvād ghnantyātmānamapi priyam tadaiṣāṃ parakāyeṣu parihāraḥ kathaṃ bhavet kleśonmattīkṛteṣveṣu pravṛtteṣvātmaghātane na kevalaṃ dayā nāsti krodha utpadyate katham yadi svabhāvo bālānāṃ paropadravakāritā teṣu kopo na yukto me yathāgnau dahanātmake atha doṣo'yamāgantuḥ sattvāḥ prakṛtipeśalāḥ yathāpyayuktastatkopaḥ kaṭudhūme yathāmbare mukhyaṃ daṇḍādikaṃ hitvā prerake yadi kupyate dveṣeṇa preritaḥ so 'pi dveṣe dveṣo'stu me varam mayāpi pūrvaṃ sattvānāmīdṛśyeva vyathā kṛtā tasmānme yuktamevaitatsattvopadravakāriṇaḥ tacchastraṃ mama kāyaśca dvayaṃ duḥkhasya kāraṇam tena śastraṃ mayā kāyo gṛhītaḥ kutra kupyate gaṇḍo'yaṃ pratimākāro gṛhīto ghaṭṭanāsahaḥ tṛṣṇāndhena mayā tatra vyathāyāṃ kutra kupyate duḥkhaṃ necchāmi duḥkhasya hetumicchāmi bāliśaḥ svāparādhāgate duḥkhe kasmād anyatra kupyate asipattravanaṃ yadvadyathā nārakapakṣiṇaḥ matkarmajanitā eva tathedaṃ kutra kupyate matkarmacoditā eva jātā mayyapakāriṇaḥ yena yāsyanti narakān mayaivāmī hatā nanu etānāśritya me pāpaṃ kṣīyate kṣamato bahu māmāśritya tu yāntyete narakān dīrghavedanān ahamevāpakāryeṣāṃ mamaite copakāriṇaḥ kasmādviparyayaṃ kṛtvā khalacetaḥ prakupyasi bhavenmamāśayaguṇo na yāmi narakānyadi eṣāmatra kimāyātaṃ yadyātmā rakṣito mayā atha pratyapakārī syāṃ tathāpyete na rakṣitāḥ hīyate cāpi me caryā tasmān naṣṭāstapasvinaḥ mano hantumamūrtatvān na śakyaṃ kenacit kvacit śarīrābhiniveśāttu kāyaduḥkhena bādhyate nyakvāraḥ paruṣaṃ vākyam ayaśaś cety ayaṃ gaṇaḥ kāyaṃ na bādhate tena cetaḥ kasmātprakupyasi mayyaprasādo yo 'nyeṣāṃ sa kiṃ māṃ bhakṣayiṣyati iha janmāntare vāpi yenāsau me 'nabhīpsitaḥ lābhāntarāyakāritvād yadyasau me 'nabhīpsitaḥ naṅkṣyatīhaiva me lābhaḥ pāpaṃ tu sthāsyati dhruvam varamadyaiva me mṛtyurna mithyājīvitaṃ ciram yasmāc ciramapi sthitvā mṛtyuduḥkhaṃ tadaiva me svapne varṣaśataṃ saukhyaṃ bhuktvā yaśca vibudhyate muhūrtamaparo yaśca sukhī bhūtvā vibudhyate nanu nivartate saukhyaṃ dvayorapi vibuddhayoḥ saivopamā mṛtyukāle cirajīvyalpajīvinoḥ labdhvāpi ca bahū riktahastaśca nagnaśca yāsyāmi muṣito yathā pāpakṣayaṃ ca puṇyaṃ ca lābhāj jīvan karomi cet puṇyakṣayaśca pāpaṃ ca lābhārthaṃ krudhyato nanu yadarthameva jīvāmi tadeva yadi naśyati kiṃ tena jīvitenāpi kevalāśubhakāriṇā avarṇavādini dveṣaḥ sattvānnāśayatīti cet parāyaśaskare'pyevaṃ kopaste kiṃ na jāyate parāyattāprasādatvād aprasādiṣu te kṣamā kleśotpādaparāyatte kṣamā nāvarṇavādini pratimās tūpasaddharmanāśakākrośakeṣu ca na yujyate mama dveṣo buddhādīnāṃ na hi vyathā gurusālohitādīnāṃ priyāṇāṃ cāpakāriṣu pūrvavatpratyayotpādaṃ dṛṣṭvā kopaṃ nivārayet cetanācetanakṛtā dehināṃ niyatā vyathā sā vyathā cetane dṛṣṭā kṣamasvaināṃ vyathāmataḥ mohādeke 'parādhyanti kupyantyanye'pi mohitāḥ brūmaḥ kameṣu nirdoṣaṃ kaṃ vā brūmo'parādhinam kasmādevaṃ kṛtaṃ pūrvaṃ yenaivaṃ bādhyase paraiḥ sarve karmaparāyattaḥ ko 'ham atrānyathākṛtau evaṃ buddhvā tu puṇyeṣu tathā yatnaṃ karomyaham yena sarve bhaviṣyanti maitracittāḥ parasparam dahyamāne gṛhe yadvadagnirgatvā gṛhāntaram tṛṇādau yatra sajyeta tadākṛṣyāpanīyate evaṃ cittaṃ yadāsaṅgād dahyate dveṣavahninā tatkṣaṇaṃ tatparityājyaṃ puṇyātmoddāhaśaṅkayā māraṇīyaḥ kathaṃ chittvā muktaś cet kim abhadrakam manuṣyaduḥkhairnarakānmuktaścetkim abhadrakam yadyetanmātramevādya duḥkhaṃ soḍhuṃ na pāryate tan nārakavyathāhetuḥ krodhaḥ kasmān na vāryate kopārthamevamevāhaṃ narakeṣu sahasraśaḥ kārito'smi na cātmārthaḥ parārtho vā kṛto mayā na cedaṃ tādṛśaṃ duḥkhaṃ mahārthaṃ ca kariṣyati jagadduḥkhahare duḥkhe prītirevātra yujyate yadi prītisukhaṃ prāptamanyaiḥ stutvā guṇorjitam manastvamapi taṃ stutvā kasmādevaṃ na hṛṣyasi idaṃ ca te hṛṣṭisukhaṃ niravadyaṃ sukhodayam na vāritaṃ ca guṇibhiḥ parāvarjanam uttamam tasyaiva sukhamityevaṃ tavedaṃ yadi na priyam bhṛtidānādivirater dṛṣṭādṛṣṭaṃ hataṃ bhavet svaguṇe kīrtyamāne ca parasaukhyamapīcchasi kīrtyamāne paraguṇe svasaukhyamapi necchasi bodhicittaṃ samutpādya sarvasattvasukhecchayā svayaṃ labdhasukheṣvadya kasmātsattveṣu kupyasi trailokyapūjyaṃ buddhatvaṃ sattvānāṃ kiṃ na vāñchasi satkāramitvaraṃ dṛṣṭvā teṣāṃ kiṃ paridahyase puṣṇāti yastvayā poṣyaṃ tubhyameva dadāti saḥ kuṭumbajīvinaṃ labdhvā na hṛṣyasi prakupyasi sa kiṃ necchati sattvānāṃ yasteṣāṃ bodhimicchati bodhicittaṃ kutastasya yo 'nyasampadi kupyati yadi tena na tal labdhaṃ sthitaṃ dānapatergṛhe sarvathāpi na tat te 'sti dattādattena tena kim kiṃ vārayatu puṇyāni prasannān svaguṇānatha labhamāno na gṛhṇātu vada kena na kupyasi na kevalaṃ tvamātmānaṃ kṛtapāpaṃ na śocasi kṛtapuṇyaiḥ saha spardhāmaparaiḥ kartum icchasi jātaṃ cedapriyaṃ śatros tvattuṣṭyā kiṃ punarbhavet tvadāśaṃsanamātreṇa na cāheturbhaviṣyati atas tvadicchayā siddhaṃ tadduḥkhe kiṃ sukhaṃ tava athāpyartho bhavedevamanarthaḥ ko nv ataḥ paraḥ etaddhi baḍiśaṃ ghoraṃ kleśabāḍiśikārpitam yato narakapālāstvāṃ krītvā pakṣyanti kumbhiṣu stutiryaśo'tha satkāro na puṇyāya na cāyuṣe na balārthaṃ na cārogye na ca kāyasukhāya me etāvāṃśca bhavetsvārtho dhīmataḥ svārthavedinaḥ madyadyūtādi sevyaṃ syānmānasaṃ sukhamicchatā yaśo'rthaṃ hārayantyarthamātmānaṃ mārayantyapi kimakṣarāṇi bhakṣyāṇi mṛte kasya ca tatsukham yathā pāṃśugṛhe bhinne rodityārtaravaṃ śiśuḥ tathā stutiyaśohānau svacittaṃ pratibhāti me śabdastāvadacittatvātsa māṃ stautītyasaṃbhavaḥ paraḥ kila mayi prīta ityetatprītikāraṇam anyatra mayi vā prītyā kiṃ hi me parakīyayā tasyaiva tatprītisukhaṃ bhāgo nālpo'pi me tataḥ tatsukhena sukhitvaṃ cetsarvatraiva mamāstu tat kasmādanyaprasādena sukhiteṣu na me sukham tasmādahaṃ stuto'smīti prītirātmani jāyate tatrāpy evam asaṃbandhāt kevalaṃ śiśuceṣṭitam stutyādayaśca me kṣobhaṃ saṃvegaṃ nāśayantyamī guṇavatsu ca mātsaryaṃ sampatkopaṃ ca kurvate tasmātstutyādighātāya mama ye pratyupasthitāḥ apāyapātarakṣārthaṃ pravṛttā nanu te mama muktyarthinaścāyuktaṃ me lābhasatkārabandhanam ye mocayanti māṃ bandhād dveṣasteṣu kathaṃ mama duḥkhaṃ praveṣṭukāmasya ye kapāṭatvamāgatāḥ buddhādhiṣṭhānata iva dveṣasteṣu kathaṃ mama puṇyavighnaḥ kṛto'nenetyatra kopo na yujyate kṣāntyā samaṃ tapo nāsti nanvetattadupasthitam athāhamātmadoṣeṇa na karomi kṣamāmiha mayaivātra kṛto vighnaḥ puṇyahetāv upasthite yo hi yena vinā nāsti yasmiṃśca sati vidyate sa eva kāraṇaṃ tasya sa kathaṃ vighna ucyate na hi kālopapannena dānavighnaḥ kṛto'rthinā na ca pravrājake prāpte pravrajyāvighna ucyate sulabhā yācakā loke durlabhāstvapakāriṇaḥ yato me 'naparādhasya na kaścidaparādhyati aśramopārjitas tasmādnṛhe nidhirivotthitaḥ bodhicaryāsahāyatvāt spṛhaṇīyo ripurmama mayā cānena copāttaṃ tasmādetatkṣamāphalam etasmai prathamaṃ deyametatpūrvā kṣamā yataḥ kṣamāsiddhyāśayo nāsya tena pūjyo na cedariḥ siddhiheturucito'pi saddharmaḥ pūjyate katham apakārāśayo'syeti śatruryadi na pūjyate anyathā me kathaṃ kṣāntirbhiṣajīva hitodyate tadduṣṭāśayamevātaḥ pratītyotpadyate kṣamā sa evātaḥ kṣamāhetuḥ pūjyaḥ saddharmavanmayā sattvakṣetraṃ jinakṣetramityato muninoditam etānārādhya bahavaḥ sampatpāraṃ yato gatāḥ sattvebhyaśca jinebhyaśca buddhadharmāgame same jineṣu gauravaṃ yadvan na sattveṣviti kaḥ kramaḥ āśayasya ca māhātmyaṃ na svataḥ kiṃ tu kāryataḥ samaṃ ca tena māhātmyaṃ sattvānāṃ tena te samāḥ maitryāśayaśca yatpūjyaḥ sattvamāhātmyameva tat buddhaprasādādyatpuṇyaṃ buddhamāhātmyameva tat buddhadharmāgamāṃśena tasmātsattvā jinaiḥ samāḥ na tu buddhaiḥ samāḥ kecidanantāṃśairguṇārṇavaiḥ guṇasāraikarāśīnāṃ guṇo'ṇurapi cet kvacit dṛśyate tasya pūjārthaṃ trailokyamapi na kṣamam buddhadharmodayāṃśastu śreṣṭhaḥ sattveṣu vidyate etadaṃśānurūpyeṇa sattvapūjā kṛtā bhavet kiṃ ca niśchadmabandhūnām aprameyopakāriṇām sattvārādhanamutsṛjya niṣkṛtiḥ kā parā bhavet bhindanti dehaṃ praviśanty avīcīṃ yeṣāṃ kṛte tatra kṛte kṛtaṃ syāt mahāpakāriṣvapi tena sarvakalyāṇamevācaraṇīyameṣu svayaṃ mama svāmina eva tāvat tadarthamātmanyapi nirvyapekṣāḥ ahaṃ kathaṃ svāmiṣu teṣu teṣu karomi mānaṃ na tu dāsabhāvam yeṣāṃ sukhe yānti mudaṃ munīndrā yeṣāṃ vyathāyāṃ praviśanti manyum tattoṣaṇāt sarvamunīndratuṣṭis tatrāpakāre 'pakṛtaṃ munīnām ādīptakāyasya yathā samantān na sarvakāmairapi saumanasyam sattvavyathāyāmapi tadvadeva na prītyupāyo'sti dayāmayānām tasmānmayā yaj janaduḥkhadena duḥkhaṃ kṛtaṃ sarvamahākṛpāṇām tadadya pāpaṃ pratideśayāmi yatkheditāstanmunayaḥ kṣamantām ārādhanāyādya tathāgatānāṃ sarvātmanā dāsyamupaimi loke kurvantu me mūrdhni padaṃ janaughā vighnantu vā tuṣyatu lokanāthaḥ ātmīkṛtaṃ sarvamidaṃ jagattaiḥ kṛpātmabhirnaiva hi saṃśayo'sti dṛśyanta ete nanu sattvarūpāsta eva nāthāḥ kimanādaro'tra tathāgatārādhanametadeva svārthasya saṃsādhanametadeva kokasya duḥkhāpahametadeva tasmānmamāstu vratametadeva yathaiko rājapuruṣaḥ pramathnāti mahājanam vikartuṃ naiva śaknoti dīrghadarśī mahājanaḥ yasmān naiva sa ekākī tasya rājabalaṃ balam tathā na durbalaṃ kaṃcidaparāddhaṃ vimānayet yasmān narakapālāś ca kṛpāvantaśca tadbalam tasmādārādhayetsattvān bhṛtyaścaṇḍanṛpaṃ yathā kupitaḥ kiṃ nṛpaḥ kuryādyena syānnarakavyathā yatsattvadaurmanasyena kṛtena hy anubhūyate tuṣṭaḥ kiṃ nṛpatirdadyādyadbuddhatvasamaṃ bhavet yatsattvasaumanasyena kṛtena hy anubhūyate āstāṃ bhaviṣyadbuddhatvaṃ sattvārādhanasambhavam ihaiva saubhāgyayaśaḥ sausthityaṃ kiṃ na paśyasi prāsādikatvamārogyaṃ prāmodyaṃ cirajīvitam cakravartisukhaṃ sphītaṃ kṣamī prāpnoti saṃsaran evaṃ kṣamo bhajedvīryaṃ vīrye bodhiryataḥ sthitā na hi vīryaṃ vinā puṇyaṃ yathā vāyuṃ vināgatiḥ kiṃ vīryaṃ kuśalotsāhastadvipakṣaḥ ka ucyate ālasyaṃ kutsitāsaktir viṣādātmāvamanyanā avyāpārasukhāsvādanidrāpāśrayatṛṣṇayā saṃsāraduḥkhānudvegād ālasyam upajāyate kleśavāgurikāghrātaḥ praviṣṭo janmavāgurām kimadyāpi na jānāsi mṛtyorvadanamāgataḥ svayūthyān māryamāṇāṃs tvaṃ krameṇaiva na paśyasi tathāpi nidrāṃ yāsyeva caṇḍālamahiṣo yathā yamenodvīkṣyamāṇasya baddhamārgasya sarvataḥ kathaṃ te rocate bhoktuṃ kathaṃ nidrā kathaṃ ratiḥ yāvat saṃbhṛtasambhāraṃ maraṇaṃ śīghrameṣyati saṃtyajyāpi tadālasyamakāle kiṃ kariṣyasi idaṃ na prāptam ārabdham idam ardhakṛtaṃ sthitam akasmānmṛtyurāyāto hā hato'smīti cintayan śokavegasamucchūnasāśruraktekṣaṇānanān bandhūn nirāśān saṃpaśyan yamadūtamukhāni ca svapāpasmṛtisaṃtaptaḥ śṛṇvannādāṃśca nārakān trāsoccāraviliptāṅgo vihvalaḥ kiṃ kariṣyasi jīvamatsya ivāsmīti yuktaṃ bhayamihaiva te kiṃ punaḥ kṛtapāpasya tīvrān narakaduḥkhataḥ spṛṣṭa uṣṇodakenāpi sukumāra pratapyase kṛtvā ca nārakaṃ karma kimevaṃ svasthamāsyate nirudyamaphalākāṅkṣin sukumāra bahuvyatha mṛtyugrasto'marākāra hā duḥkhita vihanyase mānuṣyaṃ nāvamāsādya tara duḥkhamahānadīm mūḍha kālo na nidrāyā iyaṃ naur durlabhā punaḥ muktvā dharmaratiṃ śreṣṭhāmanantaratisaṃtatim ratirauddhatyahāsādau duḥkhahetau kathaṃ tava aviṣādabalavyūhatātparyātmavidheyatā parātmasamatā caiva parātmaparivartanam naivāvasādaḥ kartavyaḥ kuto me bodhirityataḥ yasmāttathāgataḥ satyaṃ satyavādīdamuktavān te 'pyāsan daṃśamaśakā makṣikāḥ kṛmayastathā yair utsāhavaśāt prāptā durāpā bodhiruttamā kimutāhaṃ naro jātyā śakto jñātuṃ hitāhitam sarvajñanītyanutsargād bodhiṃ kiṃ nāpnuyāmaham athāpi hastapādādi dātavyamiti me bhayam gurulāghavamūḍhatvaṃ tanme syād avicārataḥ chettavyaścāsmi bhettavyo dāhyaḥ pāṭyo 'pyanekaśaḥ kalpakoṭīr asaṃkhyeyā na ca bodhirbhaviṣyati idaṃ tu me parimitaṃ duḥkhaṃ sambodhisādhanam naṣṭaśalyavyathāpohe tadutpādanaduḥkhavat sarve'pi vaidyāḥ kurvanti kriyāduḥkhair arogatām tasmād bahūni duḥkhāni hantuṃ soḍhavyamalpakam kriyāmimāmapyucitāṃ varavaidyo na dattavān madhureṇopacāreṇa cikitsati mahāturān ādau śākādidāne'pi niyojayati nāyakaḥ tatkaroti kramāt paścād yat svamāṃsānyapi tyajet yadā śākeṣviva prajñā svamāṃse'pyupajāyate māṃsāsthi tyajatastasya tadā kiṃ nāma duṣkaram na duḥkhī tyaktapāpatvātpaṇḍitatvān na durmanāḥ mithyākalpanayā citte pāpātkāye yato vyathā puṇyena kāyaḥ sukhitaḥ pāṇḍityena manaḥ sukhi tiṣṭhan parārthaṃ saṃsāre kṛpāluḥ kena khidyate kṣapayan pūrvapāpāni pratīcchan puṇyasāgarān bodhicittabalādeva śrāvakebhyo'pi śīghragaḥ evaṃ sukhātsukhaṃ gacchan ko viṣīdet sacetanaḥ bodhicittarathaṃ prāpya sarvakhedaśramāpaham chandasthāmaratimuktibalaṃ sattvārthasiddhaye chandaṃ duḥkhabhayāt kuryādanuśaṃsāṃśca bhāvayan evaṃ vipakṣam unmūlya yatetotsāhavṛddhaye chandamānaratityāgatātparyavaśitābalaiḥ aprameyā mayā doṣā hantavyāḥ svaparātmanoḥ ekaikasyāpi doṣasya yatra kalpārṇavaiḥ kṣayaḥ tatra doṣakṣayārambhe leśo'pi mama nekṣyate aprameyavyathābhājye noraḥ sphuṭati me katham guṇā mayārjanīyāśca bahavaḥ svaparātmanoḥ tatraikaikaguṇābhyāso bhavetkalpārṇavairna vā guṇaleśe'pi nābhyāso mama jātaḥ kadācana vṛthā nītaṃ mayā janma kathaṃcil labdham adbhutam na prāptaṃ bhagavatpūjāmahotsavasukhaṃ mayā na kṛtā śāsane kārā daridrāśā na pūritā bhītebhyo nābhayaṃ dattamārtā na sukhinaḥ kṛtāḥ duḥkhāya kevalaṃ māturgato'smi garbhaśalyatām dharmacchandaviyogena paurvikeṇa mamādhunā vipattirīdṛśī jātā ko dharme chandamutsṛjet kuśalānāṃ ca sarveṣāṃ chandaṃ mūlaṃ munirjagau tasyāpi mūlaṃ satataṃ vipākaphalabhāvanā duḥkhāni daurmanasyāni bhayāni vividhāni ca abhilāṣavighātāśca jāyante pāpakāriṇām manorathaḥ śubhakṛtāṃ yatra yatraiva gacchati tatra tatraiva tatpuṇyaiḥ phalārgheṇābhipūjyate pāpakārisukhecchā tu yatra yatraiva gacchati tatra tatraiva tatpāpairduḥkhaśastrairvihanyate vipulasugandhiśītalasaroruhagarbhagatā madhurajinasvarāśanakṛtopacitadyutayaḥ munikarabodhitāmbujavinirgatasadvapuṣaḥ sugatasutā bhavanti sugatasya puraḥ kuśalaiḥ yamapuruṣāpanītasakalacchavirārtaravo hutavahatāpavidrutakatāmraniṣiktatanuḥ jvaladasiśaktighātaśataśātitamāṃsadalaḥ patati sutaptalohadharaṇīṣvaśubhairbahuśaḥ tasmātkāryaḥ śubhacchando bhāvayitvaivamādarāt vajradhvajasya vidhinā mānaṃ tv ārabhya bhāvayet pūrvaṃ nirūpya sāmagrīmārabhen nārabheta vā anārambho varaṃ nāma na tv ārabhya nivartanam janmāntare'pi so 'bhyāsaḥ pāpād duḥkhaṃ ca vardhate anyac ca kāryakālaṃ ca hīnaṃ tac ca na sādhitam triṣu māno vidhātavyaḥ karmopakleśaśaktiṣu mayaivaikena kartavyamityeṣā karmamānitā kleśasvatantro loko'yaṃ na kṣamaḥ svārthasādhane tasmānmayaiṣāṃ kartavyaṃ nāśakto'haṃ yathā janaḥ nīcaṃ karma karotyanyaḥ kathaṃ mayyapi tiṣṭhati mānāc cen na karomyetanmāno naśyatu me varam mṛtaṃ duṇḍubhamāsādya kāko'pi garuḍāyate āpadābādhate'lpāpi mano me yadi durbalam viṣādakṛtaniśceṣṭa āpadaḥ sukarā nanu vyutthitaś ceṣṭamānastu mahatāmapi durjayaḥ tasmād dṛḍhena cittena karomyāpadamāpadaḥ trailokyavijigīṣutvaṃ hāsyam āpaj jitasya me mayā hi sarvaṃ jetavyamahaṃ jeyo na kenacit mayaiṣa māno voḍhavyo jinasiṃhasuto hy aham ye sattvā mānavijitā varākāste na māninaḥ mānī śatruvaśaṃ naiti mānaśatruvaśāśca te mānena durgatiṃ nītā mānuṣye'pi hatotsavāḥ parapiṇḍāśino dāsā mūrkhā durdarśanāḥ kṛśāḥ sarvataḥ paribhūtāśca mānastabdhāstapasvinaḥ te 'pi cenmānināṃ madhye dīnāstu vada kīdṛśāḥ te mānino vijayinaśca ta eva śūrā ye mānaśatruvijayāya vahanti mānam ye taṃ sphurantamapi mānaripuṃ nihatya kāmaṃ jane jayaphalaṃ pratipādayanti saṃkleśapakṣamadhyastho bhaved dṛptaḥ sahasraśaḥ duryodhanaḥ kleśagaṇaiḥ siṃho mṛgagaṇairiva mahatsvapi hi kṛcchreṣu na rasaṃ cakṣurīkṣate evaṃ kṛcchramapi prāpya na kleśavaśago bhavet yadevāpadyate karma tatkarmavyasanī bhavet tatkarmaśauṇḍo'tṛptātmā krīḍāphalasukhepsuvat sukhārthaṃ kriyate karma tathāpi syān na vā sukham karmaiva tu sukhaṃ yasya niṣkarmā sa sukhī katham kāmairna tṛptiḥ saṃsāre kṣuradhārāmadhūpamaiḥ puṇyāmṛtaiḥ kathaṃ tṛptirvipākamadhuraiḥ śivaiḥ tasmātkarmāvasāne'pi nimajjettatra karmaṇi yathā madhyāhnasaṃtapta ādau prāptasarāḥ karī balanāśānubandhe tu punaḥ kartuṃ parityajet susamāptaṃ ca tanmuñceduttarottaratṛṣṇayā kleśaprahārān saṃrakṣet kleśāṃśca prahared dṛḍham khaḍgayuddhamivāpannaḥ śikṣitenāriṇā saha tatra khaḍgaṃ yathā bhraṣṭaṃ gṛhṇīyāt sabhayas tvaram smṛtikhaḍgaṃ tathā bhraṣṭaṃ gṛhṇīyān narakān smaran viṣaṃ rudhiramāsādya prasarpati yathā tanau tathaiva chidram āsādya doṣaścitte prasarpati tailapātradharo yadvad asihastair adhiṣṭhitaḥ skhalite maraṇatrāsāttatparaḥ syāttathā vratī tasmādutsaṅgage sarpe yathottiṣṭhati satvaram nidrālasyāgame tadvat pratikurvīta satvaram ekaikasmiṃśchale suṣṭhu paritapya vicintayet kathaṃ karomi yenedaṃ punarme na bhavediti saṃsargaṃ karma vā prāptamicchedetena hetunā kathaṃ nāmāsv avasthāsu smṛtyabhyāso bhavediti laghuṃ kuryāt tathātmānam apramādakathāṃ smaran karmāgamādyathā pūrvaṃ sajjaḥ sarvatra vartate yathaiva tūlakaṃ vāyorgamanāgamane vaśam tathotsāhavaśaṃ yāyādṛddhiścaivaṃ samṛdhyati vardhayitvaivamutsāhaṃ samādhau sthāpayenmanaḥ vikṣiptacittastu naraḥ kleśadaṃṣṭrāntare sthitaḥ kāyacittavivekena vikṣepasya na sambhavaḥ tasmāl lokaṃ parityajya vitarkān parivarjayet snehān na tyajyate loko lābhādiṣu ca tṛṣṇayā tasmādetatparityāge vidvānevaṃ vibhāvayet śamathena vipaśyanāsu yuktaḥ kurute kleśavināśamityavetya śamathaḥ prathamaṃ gaveṣaṇīyaḥ sa ca loke nirapekṣayābhiratyā kasyānityeṣvanityasya sneho bhavitumarhati yena janmasahasrāṇi draṣṭavyo na punaḥ priyaḥ apaśyannaratiṃ yāti samādhau na ca tiṣṭhati na ca tṛpyati dṛṣṭvāpi pūrvavad bādhyate tṛṣā na paśyati yathābhūtaṃ saṃvegādavahīyate dahyate tena śokena priyasaṃgamakāṅkṣayā taccintayā mudhā yāti hrasvamāyurmuhurmuhuḥ aśāśvatena mitrena dharmo bhraśyati śāśvataḥ bālaiḥ sabhāgacarito niyataṃ yāti durgatim neṣyate viṣabhāgaśca kiṃ prāptaṃ bālasaṃgamāt kṣaṇād bhavanti suhṛdo bhavanti ripavaḥ kṣaṇāt toṣasthāne prakupyanti durārādhāḥ pṛthagjanāḥ hitamuktāḥ prakupyanti vārayanti ca māṃ hitāt atha na śrūyate teṣāṃ kupitā yānti durgatim īrṣyotkṛṣṭāt samādvaṃdvo hīnānmānaḥ stutermadaḥ avarṇāt pratighaśceti kadā bālāddhitaṃ bhavet ātmotkarṣaḥ parāvarṇaḥ saṃsāraratisaṃkathā ityādyavaśyamaśubhaṃ kiṃcidbālasya bālataḥ evaṃ tasyāpi tatsaṅgāt tenānarthasamāgamaḥ ekākī vihariṣyāmi sukhamakliṣṭamānasaḥ bālād dūraṃ palāyeta prāptamārādhayet priyaiḥ na saṃstavānubandhena kiṃtūdāsīnasādhuvat dharmārthamātramādāya bhṛṅgavat kusumānmadhu apūrva iva sarvatra vihariṣyāmyasaṃstutaḥ lābhī ca satkṛtaścāhamicchanti bahavaśca mām iti martyasya samprāptān maraṇāj jāyate bhayam yatra tatra ratiṃ yāti manaḥ sukhābhimohitam tattatsahasraguṇitaṃ duḥkhaṃ bhūtvopatiṣṭhati tasmāt prājño na tamicchedicchāto jāyate bhayam svayameva ca yātyetad dhairyaṃ kṛtvā pratīkṣatām bahavo lābhino'bhūvan bahavaśca yaśasvinaḥ saha lābhayaśobhiste na jñātāḥ kva gatā iti māmevānye jugupsanti kiṃ prahṛṣyāmyahaṃ stutaḥ māmevānye praśaṃsanti kiṃ viṣīdāmi ninditaḥ nānādhimuktikāḥ sattvā jinairapi na toṣitāḥ kiṃ punarmādṛśairajñaistasmāt kiṃ kokacintayā nindanty alābhinaṃ sattvamavadhyāyanti lābhinam prakṛtyā duḥkhasaṃvāsaiḥ kathaṃ tair jāyate ratiḥ na bālaḥ kasyacinmitramiti coktaṃ tathāgataiḥ na svārthena vinā prītiryasmādbālasya jāyate svārthadvāreṇa yā prītirātmārthaṃ prītireva sā dravyanāśe yathodvegaḥ sukhahānikṛto hi saḥ nāvadhyāyanti taravo na cārādhyāḥ prayatnataḥ kadā taiḥ sukhasaṃvāsaiḥ saha vāso bhavenmama śūnyadevakule sthitvā vṛkṣamūle guhāsu vā kadānapekṣo yāsyāmi pṛṣṭhato 'navalokayan amameṣu pradeśeṣu vistīrṇeṣu svabhāvataḥ svacchandacāryanilayo vihariṣyāmyahaṃ kadā mṛtpātramātravibhavaś caurāsaṃbhogacīvaraḥ nirbhayo vihariṣyāmi kadā kāyam agopayan kāyabhūmiṃ nijāṃ gatvā kaṅkālairaparaiḥ saha svakāyaṃ tulayiṣyāmi kadā śatanadharmiṇam ayameva hi kāyo me evaṃ pūtirbhaviṣyati śṛgālā api yadgandhān nopasarpeyurantikam asyaikasyāpi kāyasya sahajā asthikhaṇḍakāḥ pṛthak pṛthag gamiṣyanti kimutānyaḥ priyo janaḥ eka utpadyate janturmriyate caika eva hi nānyasya tadvyathābhāgaḥ kiṃ priyairvighnakārakaiḥ adhvānaṃ pratipannasya yathāvāsaparigrahaḥ tathā bhavādhvagasyāpi janmāvāsaparigrahaḥ caturbhiḥ puruṣairyāvat sa na nirdhāryate tataḥ āśocyamāno lokena tāvadeva vanaṃ vrajet asaṃstavāvirodhābhyāmeka eva śarīrakaḥ pūrvameva mṛto loke mriyamāṇo na śocati na cāntikacarāḥ kecicchocantaḥ kurvate vyathām buddhādyanusmṛtiṃ cāsya vikṣipanti na kecana tasmād ekākitā ramyā nirāyāsā śivodayā sarvavikṣepaśamanī sevitavyā mayā sadā sarvānyacintānirmuktaḥ svacittaikāgramānasaḥ samādhānāya cittasya prayatiṣye damāya ca kāmā hy anarthajanakā iha loke paratra ca iha bandhavadhacchedairnarakādau paratra ca yadarthaṃ dūtadūtīnāṃ kṛtāñjaliranekadhā na ca pāpamakīrtir vā yadarthaṃ gaṇitā purā prakṣiptaśca bhaye'pyātmā draviṇaṃ ca vyayīkṛtam yānyeva ca pariṣvajya babhūvottamanirvṛtāḥ tānyevāsthīni nānyāni svādhīnānyamamāni ca prakāmaṃ sampariṣvajya kiṃ na gacchasi nirvṛtim unnāmyamānaṃ yatnād yan nīyamānam adho hriyā purā dṛṣṭamadṛṣṭaṃ vā mukhaṃ jālikayāvṛtam tanmukhaṃ tūtparikleśam asahadbhir ivādhunā gṛdhrair vyaktīkṛtaṃ paśya kimidānīṃ palāyase paracakṣurnipātebhyo 'py āsīd yatparirakṣitam tadadya bhakṣitaṃ yāvat kimīrṣyālo na rakṣasi māṃsocchrayamimaṃ dṛṣṭvā gṛdhrairanyaiśca bhakṣitam āhāraḥ pūjyate'nyeṣāṃ srakcandanavibhūṣaṇaiḥ niścalādapi te trāsaḥ kaṅkālādevamīkṣitāt vetāleneva kenāpi cālyamānād bhayaṃ na kim ekasmādaśanādeṣāṃ lālāmedhyaṃ ca jāyate tatrāmedhyamaniṣṭaṃ te lālāpānaṃ kathaṃ priyam tūlagarbhair mṛdusparśai ramante nopadhānakaiḥ durgandhaṃ na sravantīti kāmino'medhyamohitāḥ yatra channe 'pyayaṃ rāgastadacchannaṃ kimapriyam na cetprayojanaṃ tena kasmācchannaṃ vimṛdyate yadi te nāśucau rāgaḥ kasmād āliṅgase 'param māṃsakardamasaṃliptaṃ snāyubaddhāsthipañjaram svameva bahvamedhyaṃ te tenaiva dhṛtimācara amedhyabhastrāmaparāṃ gūthaghasmara vismara māṃsapriyo'hamasyeti draṣṭuṃ spraṣṭuṃ ca vāñchasi acetanaṃ svabhāvena māṃsaṃ tvaṃ kathamicchasi yadicchasi na tac cittaṃ draṣṭuṃ spraṣṭuṃ ca śakyate yac ca śakyaṃ na tadvetti kiṃ tad āliṅgase mudhā nāmedhyamayamanyasya kāyaṃ vetsīty anadbhutam svāmedhyamayameva tvaṃ taṃ nāvaiṣīti vismayaḥ vighanārkāṃśuvikacaṃ muktvā taruṇapaṅkajam amedhyaśauṇḍacittasya kā ratirgūthapañjare mṛdādyamedhyaliptatvādyadi na spraṣṭum icchasi yatas tan nirgataṃ kāyāttaṃ spraṣṭuṃ kathamicchasi yadi te nāśucau rāgaḥ kasmād āliṅgase param amedhyakṣetrasambhūtaṃ tadbījaṃ tena vardhitam amedhyabhavam alpatvān na vāñchasyaśuciṃ kṛmim bahvamedhyamayaṃ kāyamamedhyajamapīcchasi na kevalamamedhyatvamātmīyaṃ na jugupsasi amedhyabhāṇḍānaparān gūthaghasmara vāñchasi karpūrādiṣu hṛdyeṣu śālyannavyañjaneṣu vā mukhakṣiptavisṛṣṭeṣu bhūmirapyaśucirmatā yadi pratyakṣamapyetadamedhyaṃ nādhimucyase śmaśāne patitān ghorān kāyān paśyāparānapi carmaṇyutpāṭite yasmād bhayamutpadyate mahat kathaṃ jñātvāpi tatraiva punarutpadyate ratiḥ kāye nyasto'pyasau gandhaścandanādeva nānyataḥ anyadīyena gandhena kasmādanyatra rajyate yadi svabhāvadaurgandhyādrāgo nātra śivaṃ nanu kimanartharucirlokastaṃ gandhenānulimpati kāyasyātra kimāyātaṃ sugandhi yadi candanam anyadīyena gandhena kasmādanyatra rajyate yadi keśanakhairdīrghairdantaiḥ samalapāṇḍuraiḥ malapaṅkadharo nagnaḥ kāyaḥ prakṛtibhīṣaṇaḥ sa kiṃ saṃskriyate yatnādātmaghātāya śastravat ātmavyāmohanodyuktair unmattair ākulā mahī kaṅkālān katicid dṛṣṭvā śmaśāne kila te ghṛṇā grāmaśmaśāne ramase calatkaṅkālasaṃkule evaṃ cāmedhyamapyetadvinā mūlyaṃ na labhyate tadarthamarjanāyāso narakādiṣu ca vyathā śiśornārjanasāmarthyaṃ kenāsau yauvane sukhī yātyarjanena tāruṇyaṃ vṛddhaḥ kāmaiḥ karoti kim keciddināntavyāpāraiḥ pariśrāntāḥ kukāminaḥ gṛhamāgatya sāyāhne śerate sma mṛtā iva daṇḍayātrābhirapare pravāsakleśaduḥkhitāḥ vatsarairapi nekṣante putradārāṃstadarthinaḥ yadarthamiva vikrīta ātmā kāmavimohitaiḥ tan na prāptaṃ mudhaivāyurnītaṃ tu parakarmaṇā vikrītasvātmabhāvānāṃ sadā preṣaṇakāriṇām prasūyante striyo'nyeṣāmaṭavīviṭapādiṣu raṇaṃ jīvitasaṃdehaṃ viśanti kila jīvitam mānārthaṃ dāsatāṃ yānti mūḍhāḥ kāmaviḍambitāḥ chidyante kāminaḥ kecidanye śūlasamarpitāḥ dṛśyante dahyamānāśca hanyamānāś ca śaktibhiḥ arjanarakṣaṇanāśaviṣādair artham anartham anantam avaihi vyagratayā dhanasaktamatīnāṃ nāvasaro bhavaduḥkhavimukteḥ evamādīnavo bhūyānalpāsvādastu kāminām śakaṭaṃ vahato yadvatpaśorghāsalavagrahaḥ tasyāsvādalavasyārthe yaḥ paśorapy adurlabhaḥ hatā daivahateneyaṃ kṣaṇasampat sudurlabhā avaśyaṃ ganturalpasya narakādiprapātinaḥ kāyasyārthe kṛto yo 'yaṃ sarvakālaṃ pariśramaḥ tataḥ koṭiśatenāpi śramabhāgena buddhatā caryāduḥkhān mahad duḥkhaṃ sā ca bodhirna kāminām na śastraṃ na viṣaṃ nāgnirna prapāto na vairiṇaḥ kāmānāmupamāṃ yānti narakādivyathāsmṛteḥ evam udvijaya kāmebhyo viveke janayedratim kalahāyāsaśūnyāsu śāntāsu vanabhūmiṣu dhanyaiḥ śaśāṅkakaracandanaśītaleṣu ramyeṣu harmyavipuleṣu śilātaleṣu niḥśabdasaumyavanamārutavījyamānaiḥ saṃkramyate parahitāya vicintyate ca vihṛtya yatra kvacidiṣṭakālaṃ śūnyālaye vṛkṣatale guhāsu parigraharakṣaṇakhedamuktaḥ caratyapekṣāvirato yatheṣṭam svacchandacāryanilayaḥ pratibaddho na kasyacit yatsaṃtoṣasukhaṃ bhuṅkte tadindrasyāpi durlabham evamādibhirākārairvivekaguṇabhāvanāt upaśāntavitarkaḥ san bodhicittaṃ tu bhāvayet parātmasamatāmādau bhāvayedevamādarāt samaduḥkhasukhāḥ sarve pālanīyā mayātmavat hastādibhedena bahuprakāraḥ kāyo yathaikaḥ paripālanīyaḥ tathā jagadbhinnamabhinnaduḥkhasukhātmakaṃ sarvamidaṃ tathaiva yadyapyanyeṣu deheṣu madduḥkhaṃ na prabādhate tathāpi tadduḥkhameva mamātmasnehaduḥsaham tathā yady apy asaṃvedyam anyad duḥkhaṃ mayātmanā tathāpi tasya tadduḥkhamātmasnehena duḥsaham mayānyaduḥkhaṃ hantavyaṃ duḥkhatvādātmaduḥkhavat anugrāhyā mayānye'pi sattvatvādātmasattvavat yadā mama pareṣāṃ ca tulyameva sukhaṃ priyam tadātmanaḥ ko viśeṣo yenātraiva sukhodyamaḥ yadā mama pareṣāṃ ca bhayaṃ duḥkhaṃ ca na priyam tadātmanaḥ ko viśeṣo yattaṃ rakṣāmi netaram tadduḥkhena na me bādhetyato yadi na rakṣyate nāgāmikāyaduḥkhānme bādhā tatkena rakṣyate ahameva tadāpīti mithyeyaṃ pratikalpanā anya eva mṛto yasmādanya eva prajāyate yadi yasyaiva yadduḥkhaṃ rakṣyaṃ tasyaiva tanmatam pādaduḥkhaṃ na hastasya kasmāt tattena rakṣyate ayuktamapi cedetadahaṃkārātpravartate yadayuktaṃ nivartyaṃ tat svam anyac ca yathābalam saṃtānaḥ samudāyaśca paṅktisenādivanmṛṣā yasya duḥkhaṃ sa nāstyasmāt kasya tat svaṃ bhaviṣyati asvāmikāni duḥkhāni sarvāṇyevāviśeṣataḥ duḥkhatvādeva vāryāṇi niyamastatra kiṃkṛtaḥ duḥkhaṃ kasmān nivāryaṃ cet sarveṣāmavivādataḥ vāryaṃ cetsarvamapyevaṃ na cedātmani sarvavat kṛpayā bahu duḥkhaṃ cet kasmādutpadyate balāt jagadduḥkhaṃ nirūpyedaṃ kṛpāduḥkhaṃ kathaṃ bahu bahūnāmekaduḥkhena yadi duḥkhaṃ vigacchati utpādyameva tadduḥkhaṃ sadayena parātmanoḥ ataḥ supuṣpacandreṇa jānatāpi nṛpāpadam ātmaduḥkhaṃ na nihataṃ bahūnāṃ duḥkhināṃ vyayāt evaṃ bhāvitasaṃtānāḥ paraduḥkhasamapriyāḥ avīcimavagāhante haṃsāḥ padmavanaṃ yathā mucyamāneṣu sattveṣu ye te prāmodyasāgarāḥ tair eva nanu paryāptaṃ mokṣeṇārasikena kim ataḥ parārthaṃ kṛtvāpi na mado na ca vismayaḥ na vipākaphalākāṅkṣā parārthaikāntatṛṣṇayā tasmād yathāntaśo 'varṇād ātmānaṃ gopayāmyaham rakṣācittaṃ dayācittaṃ karomyevaṃ pareṣvapi abhyāsādanyadīyeṣu śukraśoṇitabinduṣu bhavatyahamiti jñānamasatyapi hi vastuni tathākāyo 'nyadīyo 'pi kimātmeti na gṛhyate paratvaṃ tu svakāyasya sthitameva na duṣkaram jñātvā sadoṣam ātmānaṃ parānapi guṇodadhīn ātmabhāvaparityāgaṃ parādānaṃ ca bhāvayet kāyasyāvayavatvena yathābhīṣṭāḥ karādayaḥ jagato 'vayavatvena tathā kasmān na dehinaḥ yathātmabuddhirabhyāsāt svakāye'smin nirātmake pareṣvapi tathātmatvaṃ kimabhyāsān na jāyate evaṃ parārthaṃ kṛtvāpi na mado na ca vismayaḥ ātmānaṃ bhojayitvaiva phalāśā na ca jāyate tasmādyathārtiśokāderātmānaṃ goptum icchasi rakṣācittaṃ dayācittaṃ jagatyabhyasyatāṃ tathā adhyatiṣṭhadatho nāthaḥ scanāmāpy avalokitaḥ parṣacchāradyabhayamapyapanetuṃ janasya hi duṣkarān na nivarteta yasmādabhyāsaśaktitaḥ yasyaiva śravaṇāttrāsastenaiva na vinā ratiḥ ātmānaṃ ca parāṃścaiva yaḥ śīghraṃ trātumicchati sa caretparamaṃ guhyaṃ parātmaparivartanam yasminn ātmany atisnehād alpādapi bhayādbhayam na dviṣet kastam ātmānaṃ śatruvadyo bhayāvahaḥ yo mandya kṣutpipāsādipratīkāracikīrṣayā pakṣimatsyamṛgān hanti paripanthaṃ ca tiṣṭhati yo lābhasatkriyāhetoḥ pitarāv api mārayet ratnatrayasvam ādadyād yenāvīcīndhano bhavet kaḥ paṇḍitastamātmānamicchedrakṣet prapūjayet na paśyec chatruvac cainaṃ kaścainaṃ pratimānayet yadi dāsyāmi kiṃ bhokṣya ityātmārthe piśācatā yadi bhokṣye kiṃ dadāmīti parārthe devarājatā ātmārthaṃ pīḍayitvānyaṃ narakādiṣu pacyate ātmānaṃ pīḍayitvā tu parārthaṃ sarvasampadaḥ durgatirnīcatā maurkhyaṃ yayaivātmonnatīcchayā tāmevānyatra saṃkrāmya sugatiḥ satkṛtirmatiḥ ātmārthaṃ param ājñapya dāsatvādyanubhūyate parārthaṃ tv enam ājñapya svāmitvādyanubhūyate ye kecid duḥkhitā loke sarve te svasukhecchayā ye kecit sukhitā loke sarve te 'nyasukhecchayā bahunā vā kimuktena dṛśyatāmidamantaram svārthārthinaśca bālasya muneścānyārthakāriṇaḥ na nāma sādhyaṃ buddhatvaṃ saṃsāre'pi kutaḥ sukham svasukhasyānyaduḥkhena parivartamakurvataḥ āstāṃ tāvatparo loko dṛṣṭo'pyartho na sidhyati bhṛtyasyākurvataḥ karma svāmino'dadato bhṛtim tyaktvānyo'nyasukhotpādaṃ dṛṣṭādṛṣṭasukhotsavam anyo 'nyaduḥkhanād ghoraṃ duḥkhaṃ gṛhṇanti mohitāḥ upadravā ye ca bhavanti koke yāvanti duḥkhāni bhayāni caiva sarvāṇi tānyātmaparigraheṇa tatkiṃ mamānena parigraheṇa ātmānamaparityajya duḥkhaṃ tyaktuṃ na śakyate yathāgnimaparityajya dāhaṃ tyaktuṃ na śakyate tasmātsvaduḥkhaśāntyarthaṃ paraduḥkhaśamāya ca dadāmyanyebhya ātmānaṃ parān gṛhṇāmi cātmavat anyasambaddhamasmīti niścayaṃ kuru me manaḥ sarvasattvārthamutsṛjya nānyac cintyaṃ tvayādhunā na yuktaṃ svārthadṛṣṭyādi tadīyaiścakṣurādibhiḥ na yuktaṃ syandituṃ svārthamanyadīyaiḥ karādibhiḥ tena sattvaparo bhūtvā kāye'sminyadyadīkṣase tat tad evāpahṛtyāsmāt parebhyo hitamācara hīnādiṣvātmatāṃ kṛtvā paratvamapi cātmani bhāvayerṣyāṃ ca mānaṃ ca nirvikalpyena cetasā eṣa satkriyate nāhaṃ lābhī nāhamayaṃ yathā stūyate'yamahaṃ nindyo duḥkhito'hamayaṃ sukhī ahaṃ karomi karmāṇi tiṣṭhatyeṣa tu susthitaḥ ayaṃ kila mahān loke nīco'haṃ kila nirguṇaḥ kiṃ nirguṇena kartavyaṃ sarvasyātmā guṇānvitaḥ santi te yeṣvahaṃ nīcaḥ santi te yeṣvahaṃ varaḥ śīladṛṣṭivipattyādikleśaśaktyā na madvaśāt cikitsyo 'haṃ yathāśakti pīḍāpyaṅgīkṛtā mayā athāham acikitsyo 'sya kasmānmāmavamanyate kiṃ mamaitadguṇaiḥ kṛtyamātmā tu guṇavānayam durgativyāḍavaktrasthenaivāsya karuṇā jane aparān guṇamānena paṇḍitān vijigīṣate samamātmānamālokya yateta svādhikyavṛddhaye kalahenāpi saṃsādhyaṃ lābhasatkāramātmanaḥ api sarvatra me loke bhaveyuḥ prakaṭāḥ guṇāḥ api nāma guṇā ye 'sya na śroṣyantyapi kecana chādyerann api me doṣāḥ syānme pūjāsya no bhavet sulabdhā adya me lābhāḥ pūjito'hamayaṃ na tu paśyāmo muditās tāvac cirād enaṃ khalīkṛtam hāsyaṃ janasya sarvasya nindyamānamitastataḥ asyāpi hi varākasya spardhā kila mayā saha kimasya śrutametāvatprajñārūpaṃ kulaṃ dhanam evamātmaguṇāñśrutvā kīrtyamānānitastataḥ saṃjātapulako hṛṣṭaḥ paribhokṣye sukhotsavam yadyapyasya bhavel lābho grāhyo'smābhirasau balāt dattvāsmai yāpanāmātramasmatkarma karoti cet sukhāc ca cyāvanīyo 'yaṃ yojyo'smadvyathayā sadā anena śataśaḥ sarve saṃsāravyathitā vayam aprameyā gatāḥ kalpāḥ svārthaṃ jijñāsatas tava śrameṇa mahatānena duḥkhameva tvayārjitam madvijñaptyā tathātrāpi pravartasvāvicārataḥ drakṣyasyetadguṇān paścādbhūtaṃ hi vacanaṃ muneḥ abhaviṣyad idaṃ karma kṛtaṃ pūrvaṃ yadi tvayā bauddhaṃ sampatsukhaṃ muktvā nābhaviṣyad iyaṃ daśā tasmādyathānyadīyeṣu śukraśoṇitabinduṣu cakartha tvamahaṃkāraṃ tathānyeṣvapi bhāvaya anyadīyaścaro bhūtvā kāye'smin yadyadīkṣase tattadevāpahṛtyarthaṃ parebhyo hitamācara ayaṃ susthaḥ paro duḥstho nīcairanyo'yamuccakaiḥ paraḥ karotyayaṃ neti kuruṣverṣyāṃ tvamātmani sukhāc ca cyāvayātmānaṃ paraduḥkhe niyojaya kadāyaṃ kiṃ karotīti chalamasya nirūpaya anyenāpi kṛtaṃ doṣaṃ pātayāsyaiva mastake alpamapyasya doṣaṃ ca prakāśaya mahāmuneḥ anyādhikayaśovādairyaśo'sya malinīkuru nikṛṣṭadāsavac cainaṃ sattvakāryeṣu vāhaya nāgantukaguṇāṃśena stutyo doṣamayo hy ayam yathā kaścin na jānīyādguṇamasya tathā kuru saṃkṣepād yadyadātmārthe pareṣvapakṛtaṃ tvayā tattadātmani sattvārthe vyasanaṃ vinipātaya naivotsāho'sya dātavyo yenāyaṃ mukharo bhavet sthāpyo navavadhūvṛttau hrīto bhīto'tha saṃvṛtaḥ evaṃ kuruṣva tiṣṭhaivaṃ na kartavyamidaṃ tvayā evameṣaḥ vaśaḥ kāryo nigrāhyastadatikrame athaivamucyamāne'pi cittaṃ nedaṃ kariṣyasi tvāmeva nigrahīṣyāmi sarvadoṣāstadāśritāḥ kva yāsyasi mayā dṛṣṭaḥ sarvadarpānnihanmi te anyo'sau pūrvakaḥ kālastvayā yatrāsmi nāśitaḥ adyāpyasti mama svārtha ityāśāṃ tyaja sāmpratam tvaṃ vikrīto mayānyeṣu bahukhedam acintayan tvāṃ sattveṣu na dāsyāmi yadi nāma pramādataḥ tvaṃ māṃ narakapāleṣu pradāsyasi na saṃśayaḥ evaṃ cānekadhā dattvā tvayāhaṃ vyathitaściram nihanmi svārthaceṭaṃ tvāṃ tāni vairāṇyanusmaran na kartavyātmani prītiryadyātmaprītirasti te yadyātmā rakṣitavyo'yaṃ rakṣitavyo na yujyate yathā yathāsya kāyasya kriyate paripālanam sukumārataro bhūtvā patatyeva tathā tathā asyaivaṃ patitasyāpi sarvāpīyaṃ vasuṃdharā nālaṃ pūrayituṃ vāñchāṃ tatko'syecchāṃ kariṣyati aśakyamicchataḥ kleśa āśābhaṅgaśca jāyate nirāśo yastu sarvatra tasya sampad ajīrṇikā tasmān na prasaro deyaḥ kāyasyecchābhivṛddhaye bhadrakaṃ nāma tadvastu yad iṣṭatvān na gṛhyate bhasmaniṣṭhāvasāno'yaṃ niśceṣṭānyena cālyate aśucipratimā ghorā kasmādatra mamāgrahaḥ kiṃ mamānena yantreṇa jīvinā vā mṛtena vā loṣṭrādeḥ ko viśeṣo'sya hāhaṃkāraṃ na naśyasi śarīrapakṣapātena vṛthā duḥkham upārjyate kimasya kāṣṭhatulyasya dveṣeṇānunayena vā mayā vā pālitasyaivaṃ gṛdhrādyairbhakṣitasya vā na ca sneho na ca dveṣastasmāt snehaṃ karomi kim roṣo yasya khalīkārāttoṣo yasya ca pūjayā sa eva cen na jānāti śramaḥ kasya kṛtena me imaṃ ye kāyamicchanti te 'pi me suhṛdaḥ kila sarve svakāyamicchanti te 'pi kasmān na me priyāḥ tasmānmayānapekṣeṇa kāyastyakto jagaddhite ato'yaṃ bahudoṣo'pi dhāryate karmabhāṇḍavat tenālaṃ lokacaritaiḥ paṇḍitānanuyāmyaham apramādakathāṃ smṛtvā styānamiddhaṃ nivārayan tasmādāvaraṇaṃ hantuṃ samādhānaṃ karomyaham vimārgāc cittamākṛṣya svālambananirantaram imaṃ parikaraṃ sarvaṃ prajñārthaṃ hi munirjagau tasmādutpādayet prajñāṃ duḥkhanivṛttikāṅkṣayā saṃvṛtiḥ paramārthaśca satyadvayamidaṃ matam buddheragocarastattvaṃ buddhiḥ saṃvṛtirucyate tatra loko dvidhā dṛṣṭo yogī prākṛtakas tathā tatra prākṛtako loko yogilokena bādhyate bādhyante dhīviśeṣeṇa yogino'pyuttarottaraiḥ dṛṣṭāntenobhayeṣṭena kāryārtham avicārataḥ lokena bhāvā dṛśyante kalpyante cāpi tattvataḥ na tu māyāvadityatra vivādo yogilokayoḥ pratyakṣamapi rūpādi prasiddhyā na pramāṇataḥ aśucyādiṣu śucyādiprasiddhiriva sā mṛṣā lokāvatāraṇārthaṃ ca bhāvā nāthena deśitāḥ tattvataḥ kṣaṇikā naite saṃvṛtyā cedvirudhyate na doṣo yogisaṃvṛtyā lokātte tattvadarśinaḥ anyathā lokabādhā syādaśucistrīnirūpaṇe māyopamāj jināt puṇyaṃ sadbhāve'pi kathaṃ yathā yadi māyopamaḥ sattvaḥ kiṃ punarjāyate mṛtaḥ yāvatpratyayasāmagrī tāvanmāyāpi vartate dīrghasaṃtānamātreṇa kathaṃ sattvo'sti satyataḥ māyāpuruṣaghātādau cittābhāvān na pāpakam cittamāyāsamete tu pāpapuṇyasamudbhavaḥ mantrādīnāmasāmarthyān na māyācittasambhavaḥ sāpi nānāvidhā māyā nānāpratyayasambhavā naikasya sarvasāmarthyaṃ pratyayasyāsti kutracit nirvṛtaḥ paramārthena saṃvṛtyā yadi saṃsaret buddho'pi saṃsaredevaṃ tataḥ kiṃ bodhicaryayā pratyayānāmanucchede māyāpyucchidyate na hi pratyayānāṃ tu vicchedāt saṃvṛtyāpi na sambhavaḥ yadā na bhrāntirapyasti māyā kenopalabhyate yadā māyaiva te nāsti tadā kimupalabhyate cittasyaiva sa ākāro yadyapyanyo'sti tattvataḥ cittameva yadā māyā tadā kiṃ kena dṛśyate uktaṃ ca lokanāthena cittaṃ cittaṃ na paśyati na chinatti yathātmānamasidhārā tathā manaḥ ātmabhāvaṃ yathā dīpaḥ saṃprakāśayatīti cet naiva prakāśyate dīpo yasmān na tamasāvṛtaḥ na hi sphaṭikavan nīlaṃ nīlatve 'nyam apekṣate tathā kiṃcit parāpekṣamanapekṣaṃ ca dṛśyate anīlatve na tan nīlaṃ kuryādātmānamātmanā nīlameva hi ko nīlaṃ kuryādātmānamātmanā anīlatve na tan nīlaṃ kuryādātmānamātmanā dīpaḥ prakāśata iti jñātvā jñānena kathyate buddhiḥ prakāśata iti jñātvedaṃ kena kathyate prakāśā vāprakāśā vā yadā dṛṣṭā na kenacit vandhyāduhitṛlīleva kathyamānāpi sā mudhā yadi nāsti svasaṃvittirvijñānaṃ smaryate katham anyānubhūte sambandhāt smṛtirākhuviṣaṃ yathā pratyayāntarayuktasya darśanāt svaṃ prakāśate siddhāñjanavidherdṛṣṭo ghaṭo naivāñjanaṃ bhavet yathā dṛṣṭaṃ śrutaṃ jñātaṃ naiveha pratiṣidhyate satyataḥ kalpanā tv atra duḥkhaheturnivāryate cittādanyā na māyā cen nāpyananyeti kalpyate vastu cet sā kathaṃ nānyānanyā cen nāsti vastutaḥ asatyapi yathā māyā dṛśyā draṣṭṛ tathā manaḥ vastvāśrayaścet saṃsāraḥ so 'nyathākāśavad bhavet vastvāśrayeṇābhāvasya kriyāvattvaṃ kathaṃ bhavet asatsahāyamekaṃ hi cittamāpadyate tava grāhyamuktaṃ yadā cittaṃ tadā sarve tathāgatāḥ evaṃ ca ko guṇo labdhaścittamātre'pi kalpite māyopamatve'pi jñāte kathaṃ kleśo nivartate yadā māyāstriyāṃ rāgastatkarturapi jāyate aprahīṇā hi tatkarturjñeyasaṃkleśavāsanā taddṛṣṭikāle tasyāto durbalā śūnyavāsanā śūnyatāvāsanādhānāddhīyate bhāvavāsanā kiṃcin nāstīti cābhyāsāt sāpi paścāt prahīyate yadā na labhyate bhāvo yo nāstīti prakalpyate tadā nirāśrayo'bhāvaḥ kathaṃ tiṣṭhenmateḥ puraḥ yadā na bhāvo nābhāvo mateḥ saṃtiṣṭhate puraḥ tadānyagatyabhāvena nirālambā praśāmyate cintāmaṇiḥ kalpataruryathecchāparipūraṇaḥ vineyapraṇidhānābhyāṃ jinabimbaṃ tathekṣyate yathā gāruḍikaḥ stambhaṃ sādhayitvā vinaśyati sa tasmiṃściranaṣṭe'pi viṣādīnupaśāmayet bodhicaryānurūpyeṇa jinastambho'pi sādhitaḥ karoti sarvakāryāṇi bodhisattve'pi nirvṛte acittake kṛtā pūjā kathaṃ phalavatī bhavet tulyaiva paṭhyate yasmāttiṣṭhato nirvṛtasya ca āgamāc ca phalaṃ tatra saṃvṛtyā tattvato'pi vā satyabuddhe kṛtā pūjā saphaleti kathaṃ yathā satyadarśanato muktiḥ śūnyatādarśanena kim na vinānena mārgeṇa bodhirityāgamo yataḥ nanv asiddhaṃ mahāyānaṃ kathaṃ siddhastvadāgamaḥ yasmādubhayasiddho'sau na siddho'sau tavāditaḥ yatpratyayā ca tatrāsthā mahāyāne'pi tāṃ kuru anyobhayeṣṭasatyatve vedāderapi satyatā savivādaṃ mahāyānamiti cedāgamaṃ tyaja tīrthikaiḥ savivādatvāt svaiḥ paraiścāgamāntaram śāsanaṃ bhikṣutāmūlaṃ bhikṣutaiva ca duḥkhitā sāvalambanacittānāṃ nirvāṇamapi duḥsthitam kleśaprahāṇān muktiścet tadanantaramastu sā dṛṣṭaṃ ca teṣu sāmarthyaṃ niḥkleśasyāpi karmaṇaḥ tṛṣṇā tāvadupādānaṃ nāsti cet sampradhāryate kimakliṣṭāpi tṛṣṇaiṣāṃ nāsti sammohavat satī vedanāpratyayā tṛṣṇā vedanaiṣāṃ ca vidyate sālambanena cittena sthātavyaṃ yatra tatra vā vinā śūnyatayā cittaṃ baddhamutpadyate punaḥ yathāsaṃjñisamāpattau bhāvayettena śūnyatām yatsūtre'vataredvākyaṃ tac ced buddhoktamiṣyate mahāyānaṃ bhavatsūtraiḥ prāyastulyaṃ na kiṃ matam ekenāgamyamānena sakalaṃ yadi doṣavat ekena sūtratulyena kiṃ na sarvaṃ jinoditam mahākāśyapamukhyaiśca yadvākyaṃ nāvagāhyate tattvayānavabuddhatvād agrāhyaṃ kaḥ kariṣyati saktitrāsāt tv anirmuktyā saṃsāre sidhyati sthitiḥ mohena duḥkhināmarthe śūnyatāyā idaṃ phalam tadevaṃ śūnyatāpakṣe dūṣaṇaṃ nopapadyate tasmān nirvicikitsena bhāvanīyaiva śūnyatā kleśajñeyāvṛtitamaḥ pratipakṣo hi śūnyatā śīghraṃ sarvajñatākāmo na bhāvayati tāṃ katham yad duḥkhajananaṃ vastu trāsastasmāt prajāyatām śūnyatā duḥkhaśamanī tataḥ kiṃ jāyate bhayam yatastato vāstu bhayaṃ yadyahaṃ nāma kiṃcana ahameva na kiṃcic ced bhayaṃ kasya bhaviṣyati dantakeśanakhā nāhaṃ nāsthi nāpyasmi śoṇitam na siṃhāṇaṃ na ca śleṣmā na pūyaṃ lasikāpi vā nāhaṃ vasā na ca svedo na medo'ntrāṇi nāpyaham na cāhamantranirguṇḍī gūthamūtramahaṃ na ca nāhaṃ māṃsaṃ na ca snāyurnoṣmā vāyurahaṃ na ca na ca chidrāṇyahaṃ nāpi ṣaḍvijñānāni sarvathā śabdajñānaṃ yadi tadā śabdo gṛhyeta sarvadā jñeyaṃ vinā tu kiṃ vetti yena jñānaṃ nirucyate ajānānaṃ yadi jñānaṃ kāṣṭhaṃ jñānaṃ prasajyate tenāsaṃnihitajñeyaṃ jñānaṃ nāstīti niścayaḥ tadeva rūpaṃ jānāti tadā kiṃ na śṛṇotyapi śabdasyāsaṃnidhānāc cet tatas taj jñānam apyasat śabdagrahaṇarūpaṃ yattadrūpagrahaṇaṃ katham ekaḥ pitā ca putraśca kalpyate na tu tattvataḥ sattvaṃ rajastamo vāpi na putro na pitā yataḥ śabdagrahaṇayuktastu svabhāvastasya nekṣyate tadevānyena rūpeṇa naṭavat so 'pyaśāśvataḥ sa evānyasvabhāvaścedapūrveyaṃ tadekatā anyadrūpamasatyaṃ cen nijaṃ tadrūpamucyatām jñānatā cet tataḥ sarvapuṃsāmaikyaṃ prasajyate cetanācetane caikyaṃ tayoryenāstitā samā viśeṣaśca yadā mithyā kaḥ sādṛśyāśrayastadā acetanaśca naivāhamacaitanyātpaṭādivat atha jñaścetanāyogādajño naṣṭaḥ prasajyate athāvikṛta evātmā caitanyenāsya kiṃ kṛtam ajñasya niṣkriyasyaivamākāśasyātmatā matā na karmaphalasambandho yuktaścedātmanā vinā karma kṛtvā vinaṣṭe hi phalaṃ kasya bhaviṣyati dvayorapyāvayoḥ siddhe bhinnādhāre kriyāphale nirvyāpāraśca tatrātmetyatra vādo vṛthā nanu hetumān phalayogīti dṛśyate naiṣa sambhavaḥ saṃtānasyaikyamāśritya kartā bhokteti deśitam atītānāgataṃ cittaṃ nāhaṃ taddhi na vidyate athotpannamahaṃ cittaṃ naṣṭe'sminnāstyahaṃ punaḥ yathaiva kadalīstambho na kaścid bhāgaśaḥ kṛtaḥ tathāhamapyasadbhūto mṛgyamāṇo vicārataḥ yadi sattvo na vidyeta kasyopari kṛpeti cet kāryārthamabhyupetena yo mohena prakalpitaḥ kāryaṃ kasya na cetsattvaḥ satyamīhā tu mohataḥ duḥkhavyupaśamārthaṃ tu kāryamoho na vāryate duḥkhaheturahaṃkāra ātmamohāttu vardhate tato'pi na nivartyaścet varaṃ nairātmyabhāvanā kāyo na pādau na jaṅghā norū kāyaḥ kaṭirna ca nodaraṃ nāpyayaṃ pṛṣṭhaṃ noro bāhū na cāpi saḥ na hastau nāpyayaṃ pārśvau na kakṣau nāṃsalakṣaṇaḥ na grīvā na śiraḥ kāyaḥ kāyo'tra kataraḥ punaḥ yadi sarveṣu kāyo 'tham ekadeśena vartate aṃśā aṃśeṣu vartante sa ca kutra svayaṃ sthitaḥ sarvātmanā cetsarvatra sthitaḥ kāyaḥ karādiṣu kāyāstāvanta eva syur yāvantas te karādayaḥ naivāntarna bahiḥ kāyaḥ kathaṃ kāyaḥ karādiṣu karādibhyaḥ pṛthaṅnāsti kathaṃ nu khalu vidyate tan nāsti kāyo mohāttu kāyabuddhiḥ karādiṣu saṃniveśaviśeṣeṇa sthānau puruṣabuddhivat yāvatpratyayasāmagrī tāvatkāyaḥ pumāniva evaṃ karādau sā yāvattāvatkāyo'tra dṛśyate evamaṅgulipuñjatvātpādo'pi kataro bhavet so 'pi parvasamūhatvātparvāpi svāṃśabhedataḥ aṃśā apyaṇubhedena so 'py aṇur digvibhāgataḥ digvibhāgo niraṃśatvād ākāśaṃ tena nāstyaṇuḥ evaṃ svapnopame rūpe ko rajyeta vicārakaḥ kāyaścaivaṃ yadā nāsti tadā kā strī pumāṃśca kaḥ yadyasti duḥkhaṃ tattvena prahṛṣṭān kiṃ na bādhate śokādyārtāya mṛṣṭādi sukhaṃ cetkiṃ na rocate balīyasābhibhūtatvādyadi tan nānubhūyate vedanātvaṃ kathaṃ tasya yasya nānubhavātmatā asti sūkṣmatayā duḥkhaṃ sthaulyaṃ tasya hṛtaṃ nanu tuṣṭimātrāparā cet syāt tasmāt sāpy asya sūkṣmatā viruddhapratyayotpattau duḥkhasyānudayo yadi kalpanābhiniveśo hi vedanetyāgataṃ nanu ataeva vicāro'yaṃ pratipakṣo'sya bhāvyate vikalpakṣetrasambhūtadhyānāhārā hi yoginaḥ sāntarāv indriyārthau cetsaṃsargaḥ kuta etayoḥ nirantaratve'pyekatvaṃ kasya kenāstu saṃgatiḥ nāṇoraṇau praveśo'sti nirākāśaḥ samaśca saḥ apraveśe na miśratvamamiśratve na saṃgatiḥ niraṃśasya ca saṃsargaḥ kathaṃ nāmopapadyate saṃsarge ca niraṃśatvaṃ yadi dṛṣṭaṃ nidarśaya vijñānasya tv amūrtasya saṃsargo naiva yujyate samūhasyāpyavastutvādyathā pūrvaṃ vicāritam tadevaṃ sparśanābhāve vedanāsaṃbhavaḥ kutaḥ kimarthamayamāyāsaḥ bādhā kasya kuto bhavet yadā na vedakaḥ kaścidvedanā ca na vidyate tadāvasthāmimāṃ dṛṣṭvā tṛṣṇe kiṃ na vidīryase dṛśyate spṛśyate cāpi svapnamāyopamātmanā cittena sahajātatvādvedanā tena nekṣyate pūrvaṃ paścāc ca jātena smaryate nānubhūyate svātmānaṃ nānubhavati na cānyenānubhūyate na cāsti vedakaḥ kaścidvedanāto na tattvataḥ nirātmake kalāpe'smin ka eva bādhyate'nayā nendriyeṣu na rūpādau nāntarāle manaḥ sthitam nāpyantarna bahiścittamanyatrāpi na labhyate yan na kāye na cānyatra na miśraṃ na pṛthak kvacit tan na kiṃcidataḥ sattvāḥ prakṛtyā parinirvṛtāḥ jñeyātpūrvaṃ yadi jñānaṃ kimālambyāsya sambhavaḥ jñeyena saha cej jñānaṃ kimālambyāsya sambhavaḥ atha jñeyādbhavetpaścāttadā jñānaṃ kuto bhavet evaṃ ca sarvadharmāṇāmutpattirnāvasīyate yadyevaṃ saṃvṛtirnāsti tataḥ satyadvayaṃ kutaḥ atha sāpyanyasaṃvṛtyā syātsattvo nirvṛtaḥ kutaḥ paracittavikalpo'sau svasaṃvṛtyā tu nāsti saḥ sa paścān niyataḥ so 'sti na cen nāstyeva saṃvṛtiḥ kalpanā kalpitaṃ ceti dvayam anyonyaniśritam yathāprasiddhamāśritya vicāraḥ sarva ucyate vicāritena tu yadā vicāreṇa vicāryate tadānavasthā tasyāpi vicārasya vicāraṇāt vicārite vicārye tu vicārasyāsti saṃvittiḥ kiṃ na gṛhyate tadeva sūkṣmatāṃ yāti sthūlaṃ sūkṣmaṃ ca tatkatham sthaulyaṃ tyaktvā bhavetsūkṣmamanitye sthaulyasūkṣmate sarvasya vastunastadvatkiṃ nānityatvam iṣyate na sthaulyaṃ cetsukhādanyat sukhasyānityatā sphuṭam nāsadutpadyate kiṃcidasattvāditi cenmatam vyaktasyāsata utpattirakāmasyāpi te sthitā annādo'medhyabhakṣaḥ syāt phalaṃ hetau yadi sthitam paṭārgheṇaiva karpāsabījaṃ krītvā nivasyatām mohāc cen nekṣate lokaḥ tattvajñasyāpi sā sthitiḥ lokasyāpi ca tajjñānam asti kasmān na paśyati lokāpramāṇatāyāṃ cet vyaktadarśanamapyasat pramāṇam apramāṇaṃ cen nanu tatpramitaṃ mṛṣā tattvataḥ śūnyatā tasmādbhāvānāṃ nopapadyate kalpitaṃ bhāvam aspṛṣṭvā tadabhāvo na gṛhyate tasmādbhāvo mṛṣā yo hi tasyābhāvaḥ sphuṭaṃ mṛṣā tasmātsvapne sute naṣṭe sa nāstīti vikalpanā tadbhāvakalpanotpādaṃ vibadhnāti mṛṣā ca sā tasmādevaṃ vicāreṇa nāsti kiṃcidahetutaḥ na ca vyastasamasteṣu pratyayeṣu vyavasthitam anyato nāpi cāyātaṃ na tiṣṭhati na gacchati māyātaḥ ko viśeṣo'sya lokadhātuṣu sukhāvatī sukhāmodairmodantāṃ teṣu dehinaḥ śītārtāḥ prāpnuvantūṣṇam uṣṇārtāḥ santu śītalāḥ bodhisattvamahāmeghasambhavairjalasāgaraiḥ asipattravanaṃ teṣāṃ syān nandanavanadyutiḥ kūṭaśālmalīvṛkṣāśca jāyantāṃ kalpapādapāḥ sarobhirudyāmasarojagandhairbhavantu hṛdyāḥ narakapradeśāḥ so 'ṅgārarāśir maṇirāśirastu taptā ca bhūḥ sphāṭikakuṭṭimaṃ syāt bhavantu saṃghātamahīdharāśca pūjāvimānāḥ sugataprapūrṇāḥ aṅgārataptopalaśastravṛṣṭiradyaprabhṛtyastu ca puṣpavṛṣṭiḥ tacchastrayuddhaṃ ca paraspareṇa krīḍārthamadyāstu ca puṣpayuddham patitasakalamāṃsāḥ kundavarṇāsthidehā dahanasamajalāyāṃ vaitaraṇyāṃ nimagnāḥ mama kuśalabalena prāptadivyātmabhāvāḥ saha suravanitābhiḥ santu mandākinīsthāḥ trastāḥ paśyantvakasmādiha yamapuruṣāḥ kākagṛdhrāśca ghorāḥ dhvāntaṃ dhvastaṃ
