विद्वांसः
The named experts who hold the record.
Twelve disciplines. Public concurrence. No algorithmic verdicts.
Vamshanidhi is governed by subject-matter experts, not by classifiers. Every record modification above a threshold passes through human review. The scholars on the council are identified contributors. Their institutional affiliation, expertise tags, and council role are permanently logged alongside the actions they take. When a record is verified, the verifying scholar is named on the record. When the verdict is revoked, the revocation is also public.
The council is in bootstrap. Founder-tier appointments are in progress under the Article §8.1 Phase 1 protocol. Until the seats are filled, every record published by the platform sits at provisional. The platform does not paper over this.

Scholars accept appointment through the custodial entity. Until a named scholar holds a seat, the verdicts for that discipline remain provisional on the record. The platform refuses to round up.
The contributor tiers beneath the council.
Authority on Vamshanidhi rises in five tiers. The council sits at the top; verifiers and district moderators do the day-to-day work that keeps the archive honest. Every action at every tier is logged with the named actor and the timestamp.
Verifier
Checks citations, cross-references sources, and attests or disputes evidentiary class labels on temple, manuscript, and inscription records.
District moderator
Manages contribution queues and dispute resolution within a single district. Approves SOS broadcasts; vets local campaigns.
Scholar
Peer-reviews doctrine amendments and appeal panels. Countersigns council-tier actions. Institutional affiliation required.
State admin
Oversees data quality, policy, and contributor tiers within a state. Initiates state-level stewardship actions.
National admin
Council-level governance: doctrine amendments, constitutional changes, and cross-state policy. Requires at least two scholar countersignatures.
