Ancient Shakti festival unique to Bengaluru's Thigala community. On Chaitra Purnima, the Karaga Shaktidhar (male priest dressed as a woman) carries the sacred Karaga (goddess-pot) on his head and runs barefoot through the city all night. Considered one of Bengaluru's oldest traditions, predating the city itself.
